I get what you mean but this is actually great news for Golden State. They won’t waste anymore time to start the tanking process. On top of that a broken off shooting hand is the perfect injury to happen for this type of plan. I mean that meaning it’s nothing career altering or anything..

Yeah, this is pretty amazing news for the Warriors season. (Obviously it's awful for Steph) Reminiscent of the Spurs/Duncan one year tank....

They can tank all they want, there are at least 5 teams that will finish with worst records and to be honest who are they tanking for? This draft isn’t top heavy, there are no generational talents or anything like that coming out imo, I actually don’t like it at all.

Well it also gives them an excuse to tank. Even if they don't get a top pick that lotto pick still has value. Rest Steph, rest Klay, rest Dray. Get a top 10 pick. Trade the pick and D'Angelo for some good depth in the off season and come back next year as title contenders.

Exactly. They weren’t gonna do shit anyways this year. Now they’ll have a great pick and Dlo as a trading piece. Fucking bastards I was hoping they’d be like the 9-10th seed right around that no mans land area

This Warriors team just proves you that Curry can’t carry a team without 3 all-star teammates to help him. Dame been carrying the Blazers every year to the playoffs without any All-Star teammate with him. MJ is correct that Steph is not a HOFer just yet.

Maybe, I just don’t see it. I mean if a Duncan type player was coming out I’d be pissed. A top 10 pick and D’Angelo? Maybe i guess, not really sure what that gets you. Klay with a year out of Basketball and a 33 year old Curry doesn’t really scare me like it does with a KD standing next to them. I think it would be smart to deal Dray at this point.

The Warriors Dynasty does not compare to the Bulls Dynasty IMO. MJ didn’t lose Finals, and he went to more of them.

dude a top 10 pick and a young locked up borderline star in Dlo? You can get decent players (not necessarily stars) to all the sudden loading up your bench and depth just like that..

This is actually fantastic news for the warriors. Say curry was healthy all year they probably would have been in the 7-9th seed range which I call no man’s land. Also now Draymond all the sudden probably doesn’t blow up behind the scenes because everybody is on the same page that this year is a wash. But if curry was still playing all year and they continued to struggle whose to say Green doesn’t cause friction and shit..

Yeah I guess we will see, the value of that pick also depends on the depth of the draft and calling DLo a borderline Star is jumping the gun a bit, I don’t think the league values him in that way.

I don't think there are 5 teams worse than the Warriors this season.

well he was an all star last year. I don’t think he a superstar or anything but he’s a nice trade piece

They are probably in that Knicks, Bulls, Grizzlies, Hornets, Cavs group. But again tanking works better when there’s someone worth tanking for.

I’d be freaking out if this was last year and Zion was on his way there.

Correct, so what’s the advantage of tanking for a high pick in a draft with no clear cut stud difference maker? Those picks are valued by who is available to take with the pick, no one is trading the farm for any of the top 5 guys coming out this year unless something DRAMATICALLY changes between now and the draft.
