[QUOTE="SlyPokerDog, post: 4838003, member: 21146"[/QUOTE] Luke 23;34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.”
Kanye is an egotistical asshole and only does things for himself. If you think his tour espousing "Jesus is King" is anything other than a way to make money, gain fame and clout, then you are on the wrong path.
He knows exactly where the money is....and wore the MAGA hat to prove it..got the photo op in the White House....he's like Elvis was to Nixon
I get where you’re coming from, but wouldnt the best way to make money be to take as little of a stand as possible? By making a Christian, Muslim, Atheist, Buddhist, etc., “music” you’re cutting down your demographics quite a bit. I know almost nothing about Kanye West, or what actually believes, but seems smart business would be to be as mainstream as possible?
I do understand why people have these types of responses as many, many so-called stars (and many other influential people, etc.) have stood up on soapboxes espousing their faith "in the name of God", yet couldn't be further from truly following him. Prior to coming to Christ, I would have been the LAST person you'd ever expect to do that. That said, I still give every person the benefit of the doubt when it comes to hearing they now follow Jesus. This bottom vid, while a bit long, is rather insightful into Kanye's personal life. He's a guest on his "mother-in law's" (Kris Kardashian's) television show. He speaks of his relationship with God beginning around the 27:30 mark. As an aside.....
