Searching isn't a word i would use as it's more like falling in their laps. It matters little as to how the info comes about but trump is so dumb that he blatantly abuses his power and constantly attacks anyone who disagrees with him. That's not a recipe for a successful president..
Trump has made his own bed. He has done and said many horrible things. If any other president did and said the same things Trump has, the results would be the same Democratic or Republican. That president would be impeached.
The media didn't have to search for bad news from Trump...they just needed to listen to his speeches and read his twitter account. Als0 the media is not televisions field anymore...there are probably millions of new sources on the internet.....and when you talk about the media why exclude world media? You want balance? Broaden your horizons might be in order.....Fox news is just televisions big conservative brand….you have Breitbart...and many, many offshoot conservative sites out there. Alex Jones is in the conservative camp...don't see republicans propping him up much anymore. Half of my adult life I listened to the BBC overseas and they are much more world wide in coverage than the big 4 American news outlets. I listen to Taipei news several times a week. Believe me, democrats aren't the only people who don't trust Donald Trump to tell the truth.
Yes he has in some ways but some of the petty stuff that has come up the last few years has detracted and distracted from the bigger issues and has only served to fan his argument and strategically I think its worked against the left.
The issues leading to impeachment are hardly petty things, nor are the insults and threats he's spewed towards professional American citizens doing their jobs. Everything Trump is experiencing he's brought upon himself. The idea that he's a victim in this is his whining denial that he's wrong about so many things and lies about contacts and conversations that need not be hidden. He said he'd show his tax returns two weeks into his first term...now he won't. He says guys are great guys that are now in jail and he claims he didn't really know that well. I'm sorry....the partisan divisions have existed all of my life but that's not what's steering the impeachment of Donald Trump....he did that himself actually to the shock of the opposition. They didn't want an impeachment in an election year..he gave them no choice with his last stunt. Trump is a pay for play ponzi scheme guy who thinks his bankroll can win any court case..lies will eventually come back to bite you
Wait..are you saying "true" as in "they treated him unfairly/with bias" or they traded him "true" as in "how he should have been treated"? Because you do know there is this neat thing called "youtube" where Fox is shown to rail against Obama for something and praise Trump for the same thing, right? The same group that claimed Michelle and him had a "terrorist fist bump"?
I'm not sure if using Bush is a good idea here, since he was such a horrible president who tanked the economy.
The guy ran a complete smear campaign against the media before he was elected...he led his campaign with his fake news, truth is not truth....then lied about crowd size day one of the election...talked about that for a year...at what point do you not just say to yourself, ok....I get it. This guy doesn't know the playbook and isn't is game shape and is a locker room cancer? Time to waive his contract!
True. He greatly over-reacted to things. I've sometimes wondered if they might have been different had 9-11 not happened. We'll never know.
I never liked Trump to begin with though. Who cares about the crowd size. Just like it was stupid for R’s to talk about Obama’s suit color and stuff like that. I feel like you’re just going on your heres all the things I hate about Trump spiel and not really listening to what I am saying. Which is fine but it’s not going to get us anywhere, I dont like Trump either, but that isnt at all the point Im making. So if we would just like to do the “Ten things I hate about you”, Trump edition Im cool with that. The point I am making is over the last 3 years there has been some petty stuff out there in regards to Trump that politically I think is a mistake to let anything deter from the big blunders and crap that he has pulled, and to me every time the news cycle picks up on something that is basically meaningless in the big picture it detracts from the meaningful terrible stuff he has said and done.
That's the point...he does. He should have joked about it and gone to work...it was an obsession for him for over a year...he even photoshopped fakes to cover up his exaggerations....trust is earned and lost...my point is you cannot insult people without cause for the purpose of hiding your own mistakes or lies. You keep saying you don't like Trump but that his detractors are creating this out of partisan pettiness....I'm saying they are reacting to reality. Leadership by insult is going to fuel blowback from those who have dignity. Trump did not enter the office listening to anyone especially the American people.
Schiff is doing what he's trained to do and experienced at doing, prosecute. That was his full time job before joining the House. I'm confident that he knows very well how to pace himself and how to run a hearing.
