Or maybe just fix it. You wouldn’t be able to fit everyone that’s complained about it in that truck anyway.

You could stand over my shoulder and tell me what to do all you want, noise canceling head phones are great.
Im actually impressed with how fast replays are put up. Anyone thats done video editing or video work knows its a heck of a process. Now Im gonna take a wild guess and say I bet the equipment in the Truck is a lot nice than a PC and some editing software, but no doubt thats a legit production, even if their are blunders here and there.

I would be interested to hear your opinion if you actually came down and saw what all goes into a broadcast. I really would. The amount of communication needed for 3 straight hours of LIVE TV that it takes. If my producer wants to see a replay of something, we show it. If my director wants to show a certain camera angle, we show it. If I want to show highlights of a certain player, we show it. We have been nominated 5 times for Emmys and won 2. Thats a pretty big deal. I'm not sure what field of work your in, but I'm sure if you won an award for what you do, you earned it.
The director, myself and our graphics guy work in Vegas for the league on their summer broadcast. Of ALL 30 teams, they bring us 3 in. I think we are deserving. So the industry itself says we are damn good at what we do.
Why don't you come down and take a look at what it takes, then critique.

i have never once watched a blazer game and gotten annoyed with the broadcast, other than not knowing after a guy scored how many points he had. For some reason that annoyed me, but its been fixed. Other than that, its really well done.

Hey I watch broadcasts all the time and see mistakes in everyone of em. I saw 3 or 4 just last night on MNF. And since I know what goes on and what it takes to put a show on the air, it didn't piss me off at all. I totally understood why they went to a graphic or camera angle or replay when then they shouldn't have.
It happens. You have 45 people working together on a live sports broadcast.....shit happens.

Instead of wasting time typing out your awards, wouldn't it be more productive to actually relay the complaint; one that’s been a consistent issue for years? I know I’m not the only one that’s brought it up. It’s a pretty basic one too.

Oh I don't think I was wasting my time. I'm passing along that in the industry of LIVE sports broadcasting, we are considered pretty damn good. You don't want to take me up on my offer to come down and see what it takes? Others have and have left pretty amazed at what they witnessed. In turn I'll come down to where you work and watch. What do you think?

On the other side, do you visit auto manufacturing plants before you critique vehicles?
Do you visit cell phone R&D facilities before you comment on their functionality?
Do you visit Nike and Adidas' overseas sweatshops before you offer opinions on their shoes?

Consumers do not necessarily need to have a behind-the-scenes perspective on production in order to have a valuable or relevant perspective on the product.

Great points..... I expect to have issues with my vehicle. It's part of owning and driving a car. I have never bitched about a car I have owned. I know what I'm getting into.
As far as making shoes.....I know I don't have the skill or knowledge of how to create them, I leave it to the experts. So I buy the ones I like and stick with 'em.

Not sure if that answered your question.

No, because I don’t need to see it to appreciate the work that goes into it. Don’t know where or when I questioned that anyway? And I live in California. Now will you ignore my (or should I say our) constructive criticism, or will you actually do something about it?

What exactly are your complaints? And what should have happened instead?

I have numerous friends that are not as into the NBA these days as compared to years ago. For some of the same reasons as you mentioned!
