Lakers are such bandwaggon fans...why jump ship to the Blazers now?

Blazers are on Clippers level on offense. On defense... They are not. And still, people want to trade Baze/Hassan for Love. Then we may as well just stay on the other teams half and outscore them 200: 190.

Nice shifty change the subject move.... Some people on here could use those skills you got.

Yes Meyers seems to be doing what Meyers can do. Really happy for the guy.

Get with the program. Chalupas went away with "Chalupa Luke Babbitt". It's McDonalds now. Taco Bell went cheap.

I think your allegiance to the Lakers is your free choice. They are excellent this season and it would not surprise me if they won it all. The despicable teams, for me, are the Rockets, Nuggets and Mavs-(simply because they have Cuban as their owner-Shark Tank proves to me he is a bitch.)

I just can't see how we can defend this team without some more size. The matchups are terrible and, for the life of me, I can't understand why the roster is in this shape. MH and AT just don't didn't move the needle and those were are two of three "big" acquisitions. Skal is 80% offense. Need a free agent big STAT, if only to foul someone to slow them down. AD gets career high tonite.

We have plenty of size on our roster. Just not enough healthy bigs.

Only if Lakers fall to 3 seed. I think we’ll finish with 6 seed.

I don't see any realistic deal we can do that would be a difference maker. We're just going to have to wait until we're healthy.

Funny thing is (and I've explained this before) is that I'm not a Laker fan. All my family is in SoCal, and I was a huge Kobe fan, other than that, this whole "THE HCP is a Laker fan" thing started a few years ago when I worked for them during the playoffs and a few on here lost there mind. There was a dude and I can't remember who, on here that said the reason they hate me so much is that I'm a Laker fan. HA! Cracks me up.
So don't tell anybody that I'm not really a Laker fan...... I thrive on Nerd Hate.

    ok

but....Nurkic being out till maybe Feb was a definite known. That he might not be anywhere close this season to the level he was last season, was also a known

so then, that left Whiteside and Collins and it was OBVIOUS that an injury to either would hamstring the Blazers and leave them vulnerable to mismatches every game. But Olshey did what he has done before and that's to force Stotts' hand by giving Stotts no alternatives to what Collins brings to the floor. He didn't have to go for two players like Tolliver and Hezonja. There were other alternatives at the time. I mean, for chrissakes he signed Tolliver on the 3rd of July, only half way thru the moratorium, and then compounded the needless risk by signing an injured Gasol

the current situation was very avoidable
