I was ready to drink at 16. I got better at it by the time I was Simons age. I was an all-star in my prime. At least I thought I was until I traveled around for a month with some guys from Australia. Then I spent some time in Alaska. Talk about drinking superstars
Blazers over the past ten games: We are getting outscored badly with him on the court, let's just say that.
As long as Dame and CJ is here he never start here as long as those 2 don't have a injury. But also Olshey construct his team to give Stotts no choice but to play him. That why you won't see another PG.
It’s become apparent that the team as a whole isn’t ready, so whether Simons is ready or not has become irrelevant.
Well said. I was huge on him as well and now cringe every time he shoots. He’s nothing like we hoped he’d be
His overall shooting percentage is not is the “low 30s”. Were you reading your own post? Does that not seem wrong? I’m going to consider this trolling instead of wasting time looking up the current stats.
I'm not opposed to firing stotts, but this is just another case of you cherry picking stats to back up your weird obsession with certain players. There's a theory that you shouldn't compare players who are of different ages, as though they are the same. I.e., Thybulle is 27 months older than Simons. He had 4 years of college basketball to mature into his game, Simons didn't.
Simons is terrible. His basketball IQ is non-existent. He basically just hucks up shots with no regard and he’s totally lost on defense at all times. People are just so mesmerized by his athleticism and raw talent that they excuse this. I can’t believe people were seriously suggesting starting him over CJ just bc he went on a hot shooting streak for like 10 games. He needs at least 2 more years before he is even going to be a net positive.
I think the title of this thread says it all: Simons isn't ready...and it's killing me (and the team imo).
Don't you call my obsessions weird. What's weird is caring about throwing a leather sphere through a metal ring while the world burns.
