Notice Addressing the drama in the OT section this weekeend

I think it is 100% fucked up and not a "joke" you pull on someone. I wouldn't even think about doing that to anybody here. Ever. What if it made him preemptively go to his employers to "get ahead" of the situation? Imagine the real life shit storm that could create. Not a joke, and not funny.

 

If someone went to their employer preemptively to get ahead of the situation, it would probably be because they thought they did or said something that could get them in trouble. How would that be anyone else's fault?

 

And that's exactly why I declined on doing the joke. didn't want it to get twisted and have him actually get in trouble, or like you said, try to get ahead. But if we are going to start passing judgment over what someone thinks versus how they act, thats a slippery slope.

To pass judgement on me over this is not right. I had a thought, someone else had the same. we didn't act on it. But yet i'm being prosecuted.

Is it cool to joke about killing someone? Answer honestly please. Because the guy you are defending made that joke a week or so ago in this forum. When I called him on it, he tried to make it a drama fest... again.

There are some forum members I have respect for and will continue to do so, but there is a bias from some of them that is clear as day.

 

Good for you. HCP posts stuff on here on his own. I told him it was a bad idea the last time this came up. Search the forum. You said exactly the same thing last time.

In my opinion HCP talking shit to fans of the team he works for (when he has made it well known who he works for) is his problem.

If my wife caught one of her employees doing it they'd be warned.

The team is the business and the fans are the customers. HCP talking shit doesn't bother me in the least and @SlyPokerDog lying about me trying to get someone to actually rat HCP out is ridiculous.

You do know that the team can read this and any other thread in this forum do you not? If HCP got fired over us talking about joking about this that ain't my fault bud.

@SlyPokerDog Did this happen or did it not? Seriously. You and I have had some lengthy heavy convos on this recently and everything you said made it clear someone DID contact the Blazers and complain about HCP.

Did this happen with certainty or not? I may think you are biased to HCP, but I don't believe you to be dishonest. Did this happen or not? If it did not then, falsly claiming members of this forum did so needs to be addressed. By the person making these claims.

I've been worked up about this and you know this. If this didn't happen you need to let me know.

I say again. If HCP has said noting wrong on this site, then there is no joking about trying to get him fired. there is no substance to it period. Unless... He was doing things the Blazers wouldn't approve of and if he was, how the hell does anyone defend his behavior? If he is sooooo worried about this, then a self check would be in order. Not getting pissed and spreading false claims against others.

This is not a private place. Private in private messages means just that 'private'. There's no other way to address someone privately.

everyone knows when you quote someone you are addressing them in particular and not necessarily the whole forum even if the whole forum reads it. Doesn't mean no one can respond anyhow but....
You know this. My quote, though open to the public, was meant for the person i quoted.
Not sure why this is even a debate?
Or we can agree to disagree on what it means when you quote someone? Or should all quoted conversations be sent to private?

You are quoting the wrong one on that my friend. I have reached out with an olive branch more times than i can count. Every one of them shit on.
I have advocated for peace and good times from the moment i joined this place and tried to do many things to bring people together here.

I interpret that as a private conversation. You were saying that the respondent shouldn't be responding to you since he disagreed, apparently to me. Again, I think of this as a private message.

But I can see we're not going to have a meeting of the minds and at this point we are spinning our wheels.
