Yep...I know I will get bashed...I don't give a crap. Been bleeding red and black since 1970 so all of you can take your "I don't know shit" remarks and shove them you know where.

We win a game, and we are on the road to the playoffs. We lose a game and we need to fire Stott's, trade Dame, trade CJ and bust up the team. So really...who are the people on this forum and Facebook? Fifteen year old kids who want everything "now?" (Doing my best Veruca Salt imitation from Willy Wonka).

Tonight we beat the Suns....great victory considering that 2 of the last 3 reviews went the Suns way. BUT we have people (BLAZER FANS...supposedly) bitching on how Dame almost lost the game or how Melo almost lost the game...and so on and so on! Blows my freaking mind!!!

With each and every game we approach the Blazer fans MUST embrace the fact that this team is NOT last years team and that due to salary constrictions and MISTAKES it could not be replicated. KANTER...maybe...the rest not. Harkless and Aminu were inconsistent at best...even on defense. Losing Curry and Kanter were to me the biggest srtikes...but so be it...let's move on.

The team we had planned for the season has fell apart mostly due to injuries. We knew we would not have Nurk until January or February...we did not anticipate losing Collins, who in my opinion was developing rather well and then we lost Hood who was also a great low post and three point threat. So what now......????

I will tell you what now. This team still has talent...enough talent to make 8th or 7th seed. Why is that good news? One Damian Lillard...who will lead this team through thick and thin and make every player on this team a better person and a better player. You want to call bullshit? Look at the last few years and then call me out.

With the up coming home stand this team can easily get back to .500 ball...especially now that we have Melo. The Blazers have played good games against Philly, Denver, Bucks and LA. Yes...they lost BUT they held in better then some other playoff teams. Whiteside has passed my expectations to be honest and his shooting is as pure as it comes. Imagine him and Nurk in a rotation? BUT YET all these Blazer fans want to break the team up and ruin what years of planning has come to be. Do all of you not forget that (dare I say it ----- Olshey's/Stott's team) made it to the WCF last year????? You bastards.....LOL. Whine, whine, whine..............Hmmmm, where did Kanter and Hood magically come from? What is to say that will not happen this year as well AND we get Nurk back? As long as there is a shot and we have a team leader like Lillard...I will always believe...and for those of you that don't.....you do not bleed the same red and black I do. Fan since day 1...seen the worst..seen the best...and I can tell you this team still has an outside chance at being something special.

Mark my words today...the Blazers will make the playoffs if they make a good mid-season trade and keep the core players. EVEN with the injuries........

    peace out,

I question the knowledge of anyone who has been watching Dame over the past 1-2 games and comes to his defense. He’s been nothing less than atrocious. He legit doesn’t give a fuck.

Oh...and one other thing. 29 teams go home losers every year! Being this is the age of social media, you have to know the players read the nasty comment from their "loyal fans" and how do you think that makes them feel? Back in the 70"s thru 90's this shit did not exist. Now, in this day and age, players get beat down by their own fans! How sweet is that...supporters? Oh wait...here it comes....the person who is going to post "why should Blazer fans have to go through mediocre seasons and disappointment?" Hahahahaha...well my friends, 29 other teams go through that every season...hahahahahahahahahahaha. Hey, I was there for the magic of 1977 so nobody wants it more again then I do...but I am also realistic and I don't WHINE when it does not happen. I would be a liar if I did not say I would have made other decisions or choices at certain times and certain places....but I am not the GM nor the coach. However in the last 5+ years the Blazers have a had a very good team which I have been proud of.

I have watched your posts Mr. 1977...and you are on a Dame bashing streak. Did you not see he won the game tonight? Who do you think is a better replacement for him on this Blazer team? That amazes me....you hold the BEST player accountable for everything when they lose...and then praise him when they win.....amazing

    peace out,

won the game? Are you fucking kidding? He was the reason we almost lost to one of the worst teams in the league without their best players. He was atrocious.

a better replacement? Uh. Nobody. If he doesn’t get his shit together we are screwed and were not even sniffing the playoffs.

PLUS...why do you add in in "1-2 games" in your theory? That blows my mind...are you serious...1-2 games? LOLOLOL - Crap...LeBron can have a bad stretch also. Do you ever consider the fact the players around him are having off nights? Not moving toward the ball, not making shots...not running the offense? if there is any one player in basketball that I have seen that tries to get the team involved in the 1st quarter...it IS Damian Lillard.

Lebron is a well known bum.

Dame has not played with good energy all season. The last 1-2 games are just examples of where he’s playing so lazily that he would be cut if he were a player trying out for the team, and not an all star.

yeah he had a good last play. He also had a good start to the third. That doesn’t mean he wasn’t dogging it nearly all game and loafing around. If he even played at 80% we would have never been in jeopardy of losing to such a terrible team in the first place.

I can clearly see where you mind is at.....LOL...so can the rest of the Blazer fans from what I have seen from previous threads. Lets see....a 60 point game but the Blazers lost is Dames fault? A player who consistently tries to get the team involved from quarter one INSTEAD of being selfish...a player who has year after year made his team better by encouraging them and engaging them. The man does what he is paid to do...and maybe I am wrong...but I think the Blazers have made the playoffs 6 years now with him in the lineup. Kind of weird eh? So are you saying he sucks???? What the fuck is your beef with him Mr. 1977?

All of this bullshit about Dame and then you post the LeBron is a bum. You're a troll plain and simple. It's old, so crawl back under your bridge.

my beef is that he’s treating this season like it’s the pre-season and has no urgency. Did I say he’s a bad player? No

Lebron is the most overrated bum in the history of sports. He just has a lot of people carrying his water (you).

Mr. Blazers 1977....I wonder what you were saying when dame hit a gaming winning shot over Paul George last season that advanced them to the 2nd round? Or a game winning shot against the Warriors...or the other dozen he has hit???? Seriously...what is your beef? Do you expect him to be a one man team? LOL

Just told you. He’s a great player. That doesn’t change the fact that he’s playing lazy as hell right now.
I understand that he plays a lot of minutes. I understand it’s the beginning of the season. I wouldn’t complain unless his effort in recent games were truly atrocious. It has been

You see here Blazer community...it IS people like Blazer1977 who ruins and destroy the core value of what the game is really about. HE boils it down to one person instead of the team. How cruel is that? I can tell ya......LOL This is why I made the original post in the first place...for people like him. The ones who do NOT understand how the business works nor the process. Then they take your star player...who in fact IS a star...and blames it all on them...shame on you!!!!! Mr. Lillard has outshined Mr. Roy, Mr. Aldridge, Mr. Roy and every Blazer dating back to Drexler....and maybe he is even better the him????? None of them won a ring...right?

So we can point out how inconsistent CJ is and you get upset.

But now you go on a continuous rant about Dame, who has willed this team to wins, because of 1-2 games.

Do you see your hypocrisy? It's there. Look at it.

Do you not understand he has different players to adapt to? Listen...I do not want to get into a pissing match with you but come on man....Mario...really? Grant??? They are not Curry or Layman. This is a whole new season and Dame has to adapt. It takes time....and then even then it might not work.....does not mean it is his fault. The bench has to produce. When the bench does NOT produce, then what do you think needs to happen? Waiting for your answer......

You may not have posted much in the past, but I like the stuff you post. It's refreshing, instead of all of the doom and gloom....
