Is CJ better than Draymond? Draymond is definitely not your traditional "all-star" but he is just about as close to perfect as a player to go along with 2-3 guys who can score I can think of. Plays defense, rebounds, can initiate the offense, is a good passer. If I was building a team and had two scorers already I'd take Draymond, if I needed a Scorer type I'd take CJ, I also think their both fairly limited in that they have major flaws to their games that can be exploited if not in the right situations.

Yes, he's easily better. Draymond's overrated.

So difficult to make full point on a message board, I'm with you! Would be much more fun to break down in person. I have no doubt we agree on the majority of things, we just like to go back and forth on a few differences!

You put CJ on those GS teams instead of Draymond I think GS are a much worse team...

Interesting point. A CJ for Green trade might make both teams worse.

Draymond had a DPBM of 5.0 in 2017, averaged 2 steals and 1.4 rebounds, that's some crazy freaking defensive output. Can he carry a team the way CJ could? I don't think so, but he's like the perfect third man on a team that doesn't need scoring.

He also averaged 7.0+ assists 3 times and one time was 6.9, because they ran a lot of their offense for Steph / Klay through him.

He's a good defender but not at Kawhi's level IMO.

He's a system passer, passing to the greatest shooting backcourt of all-time.

Put Draymond on our team over CJ, we dont make it out of the 2nd round.

    CJ is better.

Yeah, because they have Steph and Klay...

CJ would be a better option for at least 75% of the league though.

Cj literally does one thing better and that is score and he's not even that efficient at that. Draymond may be over-rated but he's still very good. Like I said I think both of them are flawed players, and need a lot of things around them to be successful. However switch Draymond onto Portland for Harkless or Aminu and the Blazers might have a couple banners instead of GS. Draymond is a really, really good role player that is great in his role. CJ IMO should be a role player / 6th man type or be on a team where he can dominate the ball like Dame does. I don't think CJ is better, it's hard to compare stats because Draymond was part of such a good team, but also... Draymond was an important part of those teams it's not like he was the 7th man... I think CJ / Draymond are both pretty even overall, but have completely different skillsets and because of that they really need to be in the right situation.

I didn't get to see the second half of the game, but you've got to tip you hat to Kerr for the win! Guessing Rocket fans are melting down over this one as well...

When the Warriors play the Blazers, GS does not think they will outcoach the Blazers. Per a source. They do feel there are other teams in which they have an advantage.

I like the way Kerr said yesterday that he relies a lot on the two ex head coaches he has on the bench with him. Does anyone think Stotts is secure enough to have an ex head coach on the bench?
