That's a nitoicky measurement. How many coaches have been swept with HCA?

    One game...?

Thats the flipside of this Stotts debate. I'm more positive in regards to our roster.

Well, mainly for the reason that would leave GS without a starting caliber pf and it would leave us without a dependable starting shooting guard.

One Game? He played last night like he has for the last 5 years?
    How is that one game?
I guess I just don’t see the decline?

    Yeah i get it.
The last 5 years don't really mean much.
Look i'm just saying 29 is considered prime and he is playing well this year. Better than last years numbers and his role has changed.
I would be really happy to have him on the Blazers if that was even a possibility.
If you were really gonna go back and look at past years you would be better to look at 2015 and 2016.

again, a one game sample? People would probably think Lillard was in decline if they watched the last game against the Pelicans. You also have to consider what he is playing with right now as Lillard would be struggling if his major minute players were Simons, Hezonja, Tolliver and Skal. What I find funny is how many people want Iggy here and he is definitely in decline and then say no to Green because he is in decline. Green isn't the type of player that can carry a team, but he is a solid addition to a playoff level team.

    :dunno:

Honest question for everyone: Does it matter what anyone here thinks about Terry Stotts? Near as I can tell, he has the job until Neil Olshey says differently.

Which according to his contract, should be 2 1/2 years from now. May as well support him until then.....

Of course not, but were just talking about the Blazers and our coach, isnt that kind of what were supposed to be doing?

Id venture to guess even his staunchest “haters” want them to win.

If the only things we could talk about on a message board were things we controlled within the organization, this would be a quiet place.

Yep, I have said that many times and why I don't worry about it as I have no say in the matter just like everyone else in the forum.

Oh, I know all of that. I just don’t quite get all of the emotions some folks have about something we have no input on.

Sure, but given the state of the roster right now, worrying about the coach seems to me kind of like asking for a new captain after the Titanic has hit the iceberg.
