Injury Excuse Propaganda

I have no problem with discussing issues both positive and negative, but what's the point of continually harping on the same issue. State your point, have a short discussion and move on is how I view it. You on the other hand (and you are not alone) want to continually beat a dead horse and constantly harp on the same issue. This discussion is a perfect example. Has that accomplished anything for you?

I will take it by your lack of a response you never really played sports at decent level. No problem with that, but it gives me a better understanding where someone might be coming from.

Yes, I have played sports... and you have no idea where I’m coming from. What does that mean anyways? Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Isaiah Thomas were some of the best to ever play the game and they were terrible GM/coach... so what point were you trying to make? I can just picture Neil’s exit interview now... the disdain he will have for the fans for not being grateful for the playoff run the year before... making excuse after excuse while he keeps the status quo and they all still get paid, and then raise ticket prices again the following season.

I have disputed plenty of what you say but you're kind of like those old chatty cathy dolls where you pull the string and 5 different sayings randomly come out of the dolls mouth and keeps repeating the same lines. That's just it. The organization makes money and I strongly doubt this owner gives a flying fuck about winning or losing. She doesn't read forums or care if fans are upset. Why would she? It was her brother's team. Most owners don't care. LAC and Dallas are notable exceptions.

As I recall, the blazers were floundering last year as well, then the infusion of kanter and hood seemed to have ignited a run. They were even rolling w/o cj.

Couple that with our drop in defensive ratings. We lost 3 good front court defenders.

 

I would contend dame is our only top flight player. Whiteside is better than most starting centers, but not a star. Cj is nothing more than a 6th man chucker.
