Well I don't expect them to win any games at this point. I think they pretty much suck. They don't have talent or coaching. So really I'm not even at all frustrated by this loss, nor have I been for a while. They aren't a good basketball team.

What can you say we got 2 roster spot open and Olshey sitting on hands to go out try to get help for this team. Then the team is a totally a mess under Stotts. I be surprised if we even win a game on this road trip and if we don't Olshey has to let Stotts go especially if they continue to play like this.

 

You guys might be right. But this is a five-game losing streak. We have one decent win on the year. We're closer to being 14 games under .500 than three games under .500 with the way we're playing, and we just got blown out by one of the worst teams in the NBA and no one looked engaged.

That's usually when you see coaches let go.

 

They don’t have talent?? Dame, CJ, Whiteside, Melo, Bazemore, Simons... come on man! What do they need 10 all stars to beat bottom feeders now?

 

Melo sucks, Bazemore Sucks, Whiteside hasn't been on a winner in a long time, CJ's an ok Starting 2g and Simons is all potential, but hasn't proven anything. The talent is Dame.

 

At this point I don't know who Olshey could get that could make this team even slightly better.

No they will give to the coach that supposed to be in charge of our defense.

 

I have always defended Stotts. Always. And the main reason is that I believed the team always played hard for him and competed. It feels like that isn’t happening anymore and if it continues this is OVER. I don’t think he’s a bad coach but no matter who you are, if the team stops competing you are cooked.

I don't want to see any quotes from Dame on the Blazers Twitter feed that they're trying or the other team just shot the ball well tonight.

This was exclusively effort. Or lack of same, to be more precise.

 

The road trip at the very start of the year I think they went 3-1 and that was it.

 

The problem will be can Dame and CJ play for a coach that is discipline that will make them run a offense. Because Stotts doesn't any accountability on those 2 players.

I don't think it matters, because this team is going nowhere with Dame and CJ playing for Stotts.

If Dame can't handle that, I agree with the poster above who said that's his problem and then if we have to clean house we clean house. If Dame can't get why Stotts is being fired, then he's not who we thought he was.
