I eagerly await paying 4 and 5 bucks a gallon soon.

God Bless America, land that I love...stand beside her, and guide her...as our president leads us to a war...

White House narrative for "imminent threat" claim to justify the drone hit job on Soleimani seems kinda vague.

Trump said this guy "should have been taken out a long time ago"...well, what took them so long to do so?

As Ricky Ricardo used to say, "Luchy, you got some splaining to do."

I'm trying really hard to see a significant difference between actions by the Obama administration in taking out Usama bin Laden and Anwar Al–Aulaqi vs Trump's actions in targeting Soleimani. As I've said multiple times around here, I'm no Trump supporter, but I try to be a fair observer of these kinds of things. Here's a legal analysis from 2011 on bin Laden and Al-Aulaqi. I don't see that a very well defined "imminent threat" was asserted in either case. In bin Laden's instance, the US had been tracking him for years and passed on other opportunities to take him out.

Osama Bin Laden attacked the fucking United States...had his goons hijack planes on American Soil and crash them into New York Skyscapers, the Pentagon, and nearly the White House. There is a big fucking difference.

Too, Obama was cleaning up Cheney's fucking mess and inability to go after the actual perpetrator of 9/11.

Pompeo gave a speech before a right wing evangelical organization some months ago in which he said god selected Trump to protect Israel (they hate Jews but love Israel!) from Iran by taking out Soleimani.

I'm personally not in love with the idea of another war, but I'm not entirely sure why Iran thinks they're in the right when they had a General in Iraq running black ops.

He got lured to Iraq to broker de-escalation with Saudi Arabia. He was assassinated when he arrived at the airport.

Iran strikes back: Multiple rockets are launched at Al-Asad airbase in Iraq that is home to US and Coalition forces and was visited by Donald Trump
    • Iran state TV says Tehran has launched 'tens' of surface-to-surface missiles at Iraq’s Ain Assad air base housing US troops
    • The base for American and coalition troops continued to get pelted with rockets with forces taking a third round Tuesday night, according to militarily sources
    • It's unclear if there are any casualties at the base where President Trump visited in December 2018
    • Local reports initially suggested that five rockets had struck the al-Taji military base situated 30km north of Baghdad, after 'shelter in place' sirens were heard
    • However, Kurdistan 24 reporter Barzan Sadiq later tweeted that the base was calm on Tuesday night and suggested the purported attack was likely just a drill
    • Reports of the alleged strike occurred just hours after a flurry of US airstrikes were carried out on militia bases in Western Iraq and Syria

Are you saying this guy was a peace maker?
No way in hell he would favor de escalating anything.
I can’t stand a Trump but I’m glad as hell that guy is dead! And I’ll be happier once the Iranian people are freed from the grind of Religious Tyrants.

    Lol. That’s cute.

You don’t ‘free’ people by dropping bombs on them. Those people don’t want us anywhere near them.
