Was it already discussed, , why did San Francisco pretty much let the clock run out at the end of the 1st half?

The Seahawks 1992 2-12 season (considered by Seahawks fans as the darkest period in Seahawks history) averaged just over 53,000 fans per game in the Kingdome that had a capacity of 65,000. Not bad.

By comparison, I went to look at Levi attendance in 2016, their 2-12 season under Chip Kelly and there are no real attendance numbers on wikipedia. Apparently the 9ers declare sell outs every game (tickets sold don't equate to butts in the seats) but then I stumbled upon this gem from 2016

    https://abc7news.com/sports/concern-grows-over-half-empty-stadium-during-49ers-game/1571690/

What do the 9er fans call themselves again? The "faithful?"

Lot of long faces at gym today, a couple of guys said they cried themselves to sleep, although alcohol might have been a factor. My trainer said only half the usual crew at her early class.

Because the only coaches better at losing games than the Shanahans are the Grudens.

Well, I don't know about that....but Kyle is certainly not his father, that's for sure. At least his father won 2 superbowls.

If Kyle chokes away another one, I might be okay with firing his ass. I don't envy Jed York if that happens.

It is amazing Shanahan would screw up late in the 4th with the best run game this season.

I'm a big ,long time 49er fan, but it's just a freaking game people. I think the niners outplayed the chiefs, just not enough to overcome officiating disparity.

When I was younger I'd get really upset at things like this, but it's really nonsense

IT reminded me of Seattle vs NE a few years ago Seattle was the better team for 3 quarters and lost. I feel like the 49ers dominated most of the game and then just choked. I don't think it was the officiating.
