Trump put VP Pence in charge due to his great record on health care in Indiana. Pence's bad policies led directly to an HIV epidemic in southern Indiana. He cut public health funds, eliminated testing facilities, got rid of people in charge of STD prevention, promoted abstinence only that prohibited information on condoms. When a desperate police chief asked him to reopen needle exchange he offered prayer. He falsely claimed needle exchange promotes illegal drug use. He finally agreed to a limited exchange program. At the same time he signed a bill increasing possession of syringe for use of illegal drug from misdemeanor to felony.

But it was a great epidemic. The very best epidemic. No one knows more about epidemics.

 

I suppose he did his best. Nonetheless, it's always better to have a fence at the top of the hill as opposed to a hospital at the bottom.

 

I didnt hear any of Trumps thing I was at the gym while it was going on. We had a very spirited discussion about this at work today.

No one was mad or yelling or anything like that but I think we all had a lot of questions. How big of a threat is this to the US? Seems like its mostly speculation at this point. Is the news selling this as more of a threat then it is really? I think we all agreed, that we thought they were but we’d also rather have talk about threats to us like this a lot than not at all.
It sounds like the situation in China is getting better, so thats good.

Interesting stuff. Weve had some suppliers unable to deliver to us for a few weeks now, but admittedly its more important that the people over there are safe and healthy then if they can get us harmonic drives and such.
