This is surreal. Now Lonzo Ball walks out and starts warming up.

I don’t think so. It’s a part of trying to manage the outbreak so that the inevitable millions of cases are spread out over several months instead of a few weeks. If they can flatten the curve, there’s a chance our medical system can keep up. If it’s a severe spike, we’re screwed.

Ya man it gets serious when you are responsible for so much and so many. That’s REAL life though right?

Wow! They just canceled the Kings vs Pelicans moments before tip-off. I thought they were going to let tonight's games play out, I guess not.

As I said, I feel bad for you.

I was legitimately trying to say something of value for everyone.

Because I know a ton of people in your situation.

and it truly makes me sad.

since it doesn’t have to be this way.

kinda like how CJ just told players he hoped they were smart with their money.

I hope moving forward EVERYONE in here has 6-12 months covered.

Don’t care about differing BASKETBALL opinions; this is much more (even if you think it’s fearmongering.)

sorry if it came across otherwise

    but like I said

I hope everyone builds up that savings

and even if 100% of your income was Blazers, should still build an emergency fund!

    once again!

    sorry to hear

didn’t mean to rub salt in the wound

just want everyone to come out ok

Presume it’s probably too early for statistics on getting ill again for those who have contracted and recovered from Covid-19?

Sorry you’re getting hit so hard. I hope something else in the way of an opportunity comes along quickly. I just met my new neighbor who’s moving in next door today. He said he works for the Blazers and now I’m wondering how he’s going to be hit by this.

I literally took the exact opposite of this.

He is worried about his fellow players making good investment decisions because most don’t have 100mm guaranteed like he does.

    most rely on that paycheck.

so when it’s gone, they’re fucked.

he’s telling them to be smart, because stuff like this happens.

literally everything you just said is exactly what CJ appears to be doing

showing concern for colleagues who depend on that paycheck.

Even people who aren’t working for the Blazers have been massively affected.

The stock market has legitimately wiped out people’s retirements.

Its why I’m worried for everyone.

Again it's not an either-or situation. It's not flu or coronavirus it's never been that you're making a false argument

Should we hold off on declaring a full season prediction game winner?

I didn’t mean to imply otherwise. This is going to hit certain economic sectors very hard. It may trigger a major recession. People are going to hurt physically and economically.

there are PLENTY of ways to control spread. You literally just saw it with the NBA suspension. Tons of workplaces going into remote mode. This absolutely IS controllable with basic action. We need to learn from Italy, not dismiss this as media hysteria and simply remain status quo.
