That brings up a pet peeve of mine...now don't get me wrong, I realize that there are people who really need those little electric riding carts that some stores provide to customers with physical disabilities but it seems many people use them simply because they're too damn sorry to actually walk through the store...and it also seems they are the ones constantly blocking the aisles because they're either on their cell phone asking someone what kind of doughnuts to buy or they're simply gum bumping with someone.
Folks, please leave these carts for the people who truly need them, lay off the doughnuts, and walk a little...you might just lose some weight.

Having cash on hand is better than not having any. This isnt hard to comprehend.

Good grief, "That was the last we've heard from him." sounds eerily ominous. Sounds like you're going to spend today picking out a funeral home and a casket. I'd lighten that up a little if I were you like "I expect him home today or tomorrow."

I have no idea when to expect him. I wasn't trying to phrase that any particular way, that was just the last time we had contact with him... It was more matter of fact than, a message of impending doom.
