I would assume that the number of kids/dependents that will be factored in would be based on your 2019 tax forms.
Let me have his address. I'll come by with a baseball bat and adjust his back so he doesn't have to fake it.
Hmmmmmm....... https://www.cnbc.com/2020/03/25/ber...ten-to-hold-up-coronavirus-stimulus-bill.html Bernie Sanders threatens to hold up coronavirus bill after 4 GOP senators push to cut unemployment aid
Hmmmmmmm...what? Although fine tuned a bit, the package still gives WAY too much money to companies, and no, I don't mean small business. What's to keep big business from laying off or not rehiring employees once the companies have been handed big checks?
Nah, all he has to do is hump someone's leg to get him fired up...but what's so bad is that damned silly toothy grin he has as he doing it.
I want his check while you are there. I and millions of others go to work every day with arthritic knees and people like this get free money....
$500 billion for big business but four senators want to block the bill because unemployment benefits are too generous.
The sad part is I, a healthcare essential employee, make less than what that unemployment makes by me staying at my job. lol. Granted I'm "entry level", but still. I'd rather have the certainty though.
I get the frustration, but big businesses employ people. My work just laid off over 100 people company wide. Maybe with money from the stimulus, those people can return????
Did you see how Pelosi and the Dems vastly improved the bill in favor of we, the people? The McConnell version was a corporate giveaway. Check it out before saying things like "They couldn't care less about the average American." Not so.
I get that, but objecting to unemployment while being fine with corporate giveaway is the proverbial swallowing a camel while choking on a gnat.
so, I saw a guy talking on TV about this and he said 425B of the 500B "for corporations" is going to the Federal Reserve as seed money granting them the authority to extend 10-1 credit for 10 years. If what he's said is accurate, it's not a 500B corporate 'stimulus', it's a 4.25 trillion give-away to corporations. Yeah, that's trillion with a T. The same corporations that have been downsizing labor, busting unions, making massive stock buybacks, and paying CEO's 1000 times what an average worker makes. I get that everybody is being hurt by this disaster, including corporations; but for fuck sakes...4.25 Trillion??....c'mon. Why the fuck do corporations end up getting 4.25 trillion, when everybody else: people, workers, small businesses, hospitals, doctors, nurses, and just about anybody else you can think of gets 1.5 trillion? oh, he also made the point that the Federal Reserve has incredible resources and will be able to disburse money quickly. Meanwhile the SBA is about the slowest performing agency in the government because they have almost no budget or personnel, so good luck small businesses. They would have to process more applications in a week than they currently process in a year. Yeah, that's going to work out well
