Honestly you, @bodyman5000 and 1 and @CupWizier get into a lot of arguments in a lot threads. I get it, all of you are very passionate in your opinions but all three of you get very irritated if people disagree with you which leads to nothing but insults and post after post of you guys sniping at each other that has nothing to do with your original argument.

I like all of you, I respect all of you, but this behavior has to stop.

If you guys really need to bang on each other you can do it in Private Messages.

There's a helluva lot more than just the 3 you mentioned...but whatever.

FWIW, I would never "bang" anyone on this board...well at least not until the social distancing thingy is lifted.

I get into arguments/discussions on here. A few mods do and there are quite a few posters that do as well. I like you for the most part so this isn't meant to be a shot at you or anyone, but it's my personal opinion that discussion, back and forth, arguments, can be constructive to some extent. It's the chasing people around from thread to thread and bringing up topics over and over and letting those devolve to the point where discussion is dead that I find the problem exists. Again I'm not perfect at that and no one is. I never exclude myself when it comes to issues on the forum, or in real life because I realize at times I can be guilty of the same things. I should get better at not getting into heated discussions with people as well and when things are devolving past a point of something being a good discussion, I should stop.

I agree 100%, especially if there's no obvious personal attacks.

Ha! I don't get irritated if they don't agree with me. I get irritated when they accuse others and when shown that they did the thing they accused someone of doing it they ignore it.

Example. An example that cannot be refuted is the slurp slurp thing. I read that the other day and it was just ridiculous. It has nothing to do with a "discussion" as they pretend to want. They want to trash a different opinion before it even arrives. You know it and everyone else who reads this shit knows it.

So I just kept doing it and predictably they said how it was a reflection on what type of person I am. Then I quoted where I got it from and no response. They don't have enough self awareness to just tackle that one single instance where they were wrong.

If you can't admit that tiny little bit, what good are you as a poster? If I wanted to hear what Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon said all day without being able to have a discussion I'd just watch CNN myself.

Holy fuck I miss Dviss1 sometimes. Check that, all the time I read this board.

I don't know what you mean but I'm only posting here because I have to work and I don't have 3 cars to work on at a time.

I am waiting for some parts and some filler to cure on what I'm doing right now.

A perfect example of what you are talking about is a thread that was last posted in exactly 2 years ago that bodyman went into today and dredged up an old post of mine in the thread and responded with his typical antics. What do you think his purpose was to do that? I ignored it and moved on, but this guy definitely has some issues.

We are having remote Seder via zoom. Everyone has to prepare their own Seder plate and meal but as my brother said, we can drink as much wine as we want since no one is driving.

Got my plate, matzo, egg and salt water, horseradish, fig apple harotzet from last fall's harvest, parsley from garden, roasted bone. Should be lamb but exigent circumstances. Orange not traditional. It started during debate on ordination of women when a senior rabbi said a female rabbi was as ridiculous as an orange on a Seder plate. Since then the orange has indicated support for gender equality.

Got my dinner, matzo ball soup, brisket, potatoes, chard, miniature flourless chocolate cake from Cooking for IMG_20200408_140011.jpg Two book.

It's ironic that food that has perforations like toilet paper can help you avoid the need for toilet paper. Smart cookies these refugees were.

I want nothing to do with that guy. I notice he really took heed of your advice about his slurp infatuation. He's just shoving it in your face cause that's how he operates.
