That does seem to be what they are saying. And that position probably makes sense to them. It's up to everyone whether they want to fight to change the system from the outside, or from within. Neither choice is wrong, but the choice does have consequences.

True, but I don't see WI, PA, MI as having a lot of die-hard far-left voters per capita.

The Dems want their votes because the goal of elections is to get the most votes. The Dems will make some accommodations to try to attract some of them, while trying not to alienate voters who have other viewpoints. It will work for some, but not for all. It's kind of the way politics works.

    Dramamine time!

That crock of shit is exactly what Kyle Kulinski is against.

I don't agree with much of any of Kyle's politics. I do see his point.

Lowering Medicare age by 5 years ain't cutting it with his audience.

I shouldn't have said want their votes. Obviously any party wants all the votes they can get.

The DNC and the media are going to do anything they can to get these votes. Shaming them seems to be the current method. Good luck with that.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Revolutionaries are always going to be very tiny minorities (any time that they're more than a very tiny minority, the nation in question is in pretty serious trouble). It doesn't make sense for either mainstream party to choose the path of the revolutionary. In a representative democracy like ours, things never change by revolution (the American Revolution was against a government that was not allowing for representation by the governed). They always change by increments. Sure, that's boring...that's also reality.

That doesn't mean anyone is wrong to espouse massive change now--but they are voluntarily picking a path where their only power is advocacy, not legislative or executive power.

I personally would prefer massive change (of my choosing, of course) now. But I recognize that that isn't possible and I'm fine with voting for incremental candidates that move things in the right (by my estimation) direction. Because moving things in the right direction over time has, in certain ways, fundamentally changed the nation. Just not instantly.

So what? Why should either of us care what Kyle thinks?

Agreed. But that's the offer. It will appeal to some people, it won't to others. That's ok.

No, they aren't. Doing anything they can would mean endorsing Bernie's entire platform and appointing Bernie VP or some major cabinet position.
That isn't going to happen. Because it wouldn't be worth it. No matter how hard you wish for it.

You seem very concerned with how Bernie supporters are treated, and who they might vote for. Why is that?

I guess people are forgetting Bernie won primaries in multiple states. Granted, they were small, sparsely populated states like California lol. Pretending he was a fringe candidate with a small, unimportant voter base is about as stupid as I would expect democrats to be. Their game plan is shaping up to be worse than 2016 and I honestly didn’t think that was possible. All those disenfranchised Bernie voters are as good as an independent party. Many will not vote for Biden Period.

So, if they will not vote for Biden Period, then there is no reason for Democrats to bother about them any further, correct?

Paying attention to them is as futile as trying to get Mags to vote for Biden, have I got that right?

Dicking Sanders around in the state primaries pissed a lot of people off. That’s all I’m saying. At this point it may be futile to flip the script and try to kiss up to them. It’s a bad look and doesn’t really fool anyone.

I don't think Sanders got dicked around, unless you mean that as a synonym for beaten. Thunderdome doesn't end with 2 men leaving.

Obviously neither of us are Sanders voters, so if there is any kissing up/ fooling going on, we probably aren't the best ones to judge the effectiveness of those actions.

You know, if I was just a little less apathetic than I am at the moment, I'd Photoshop a toilet under Joe in this cover shot:

Considering the title, that's a little mean. Funny, though.

You are required to be part of every flame war, have you not read the rules since you've been back? Things have changed around here.
