Yep. I’ve always enjoyed watching his show, even being so against my ideology. It’s sad that he calls more balls and strikes than our actual media.

    Great news!

The University of Washington's Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) lowered its projection of total deaths from 68,841 (with an estimate range of 30,188 to 175,965) to just over 60,308 (with an estimate range of 34,063 to 140,381) in an update published Friday.

Hope that projection turns out to be accurate, but I'm concerned about what might happen if we let our guard down and reopen too quickly and/or stop taking proper precautions/distancing.

It’s an honest concern. I’m kinda on the fence as well. I’m just glad they aren’t projecting the 120-240k deaths a couple weeks ago. That would be a disaster.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
There's a third possibility--that the public just blames the current administration for bungling the job and things don't change appreciably in the future. That would be the "George W. Bush mismanages Hurricane Katrina" model.

Granted, this is a lot more widespread so it's not an exact parallel.

And before certain people say, "tRUmP's APprovAL RatINgS aRE aCtuAlly gOiNg UP!"--A. Bush's approval ratings didn't immediately suffer, it took time and B. Trump's approval ratings are dropping again.

Dude, putting cams in my bathroom, especially during quarantine? Not cool.

I'm thinking of investing big in instant noodles and breakfast cereal companies....just read that an enormous amount of people unable to work or go out to eat are eating these two things exclusively to avoid cooking! Everyone gets to be a preschooler when it comes to diet now

    Just to level set here
Trump laid out plans to reopen America with graphs and poster boards, with phases etc and said, again, the governors make the final decision. I watched and thought for the first time, this actually seems reasonable.
The following day he tweeted democratic run states to liberate their people and for one of them to also protect their second amendment.
He told the states to decide what to do and within 24 hours told them to open up. He is so mentally unstable it’s not up for debate.

Did you see those idiots in Jacksonville Florida in a state that hasn't even come close to meeting the federal guidelines. Beaches open at 5pm and these clowns rush the beach with no thought of spreading the virus.

Kind of makes you wonder who's more delusional, trump or his cult followers? He only verbally passes the bucks to the states so that if we take a step back trump will blame the states and take no responsibility. It's who he is.
