* 176,000 to racial segregation - lol, yeah, trump is a big fan of minorities
* 162,000 to low social support - trump has been working OT to gut the ACA and food stamp program, and that's the short list
* 133,000 to poverty - trump's last budget proposed massive cuts to poverty assistance
* 119,00o to income equality - income equality has had a massive acceleration under trump

there was a conclusion from the study too:

"These findings argue for a broader public health conceptualization of the causes of mortality and an expansive policy approach that considers how social factors can be addressed to improve the health of populations"

that's the opposite of trump's policies

I think that general statement was lazy and misinformed. What you feel and what is fact are two entirely different things. I can name multiple policies that Trump was a part of that were directed to revitalize Urban areas. Things he did for a voting block that only voted 7% in favor of him.

Im sure the answer is both. I think a lot of jobs arent coming back, but Im sure some people will refuse to work certain jobs too.
To be fair say you have a degree, you’re educated you were working for 75k+ a year doing what you wanted to do its quite a leap to say now you take job for 40k, doing something you dont want too. Not trying to make an excuse, as much as just to say I have some empathy for people who may be put in that situation.

.01% of their population has died from it and thats a massive off the charts epidemic? We really dont know if what theyve done will work or not as time goes on but Its definitely an interesting approach. They have factors in sweden that may give them advantages over other places.
