So you think it was a perfect policy of the Cuomo Administration to send back infected seniors to their long term care facilities? Gotcha

this is kind of like an argument I've been making

that being that a lot of the businesses that are closed right now like restaurants, bars, gyms, theaters, salons, etc. are not going to spring back into life once the restrictions are lifted. That's because people are not going to be confident enough, for a long time possibly, to take their families to these places, or go back to normal. Social distancing isn't just directives from state governments, it's common sense as long as covid is out there without any vaccine and no effective treatment

and the reaction if we relax causing infections and deaths to spike again as a result is going to be pretty extreme IMO

let me ask a question: if I haven't spent any time praising Cuomo for what he's done, does that mean my criticisms of trump are valid?

I think any opinion is valid. I also think any opposing opinion is valid.

If you just want to ignore Cuomo’s policy of telling hospitals to send infected seniors back to their long term treatment centers just say so.

    bullshit, and I'll prove it:

IMO, Evan Turner is a great perimeter shooter

which reminds me....it's only 2 months until the NBA draft

It’s valid that your opinion should matter. Doesn’t mean the opinion is right.

That’s why this forum is popular. A lot of opposing views creates heated discussions. Don’t you agree?

Seriously dude, take some time off again. You are all over this forum arguing with 4-5 people at the same time over ridiculously stupid shit. Why do you feel the need to reply to every post that says something about trump? Seems a bit overly obsessive.

Looks like another test that collaborated with the USC and Stanford tests. This one says 2.7 million maybe infected. Going that route, it’s highly possible tens of millions have been already been infected, lowering the mortality percent significantly.

New York test of 3,000 people finds 14% with coronavirus antibodies

(Reuters) - New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said on Thursday a screening of 3,000 residents found that 13.9 percent tested positive for antibodies for the novel coronavirus, suggesting that some 2.7 million people across the state may have been infected.

I agree there will some reluctance, but on the other hand there is a large percentage of people still working essential and even non essential jobs that I predict will have an easy time phasing back into consumer practices. As long as there are still some governing I predict business's will again thrive and survive with consumer confidence improving in quick fashion.

there is quite a bit of dispute about these recent studies:

    https://www.dailykos.com/stories/20...ll-an-apology-according-to-noted-statistician

    https://statmodeling.stat.columbia....-in-stanford-study-of-coronavirus-prevalence/

"I think the authors of the above-linked paper owe us all an apology. We wasted time and effort discussing this paper whose main selling point was some numbers that were essentially the product of a statistical error.

I’m serious about the apology. Everyone makes mistakes. I don’t think they authors need to apologize just because they screwed up. I think they need to apologize because these were avoidable screw-ups. They’re the kind of screw-ups that happen if you want to leap out with an exciting finding and you don’t look too carefully at what you might have done wrong.

    Snowflakes? Heh. ;)

Anyway, I've never been riled even once. That said, Cup should take a page out of his book with me and simply place Mags on ignore. I'm pretty sure it would be a great solution for him.
