God, people are stupid! https://ktla.com/news/nationworld/a...e-are-killing-desperately-needed-native-bees/ Amid panic over ‘murder hornets,’ people are killing desperately needed native bees
Bees are thriving in my neck of the woods so far...I have a pathway that skirts my deck bordered with a 30ft long lavender hedge...they love that lavender
anyone who thinks America isnt the media’s sheeple (yes im generalizing to avoid putting together a specific list of all American non sheeple) Are sadly mistaken. We are sooo the mice and the media is our pied piper. they speak and we react. that land in the middle of the mountains, 100% withdrawn from society sounds better and better all the time. don't worry though. Ill still have a portable satellite so i can log in and stir up trouble around here. Lol.
My grandma usually plants flowers in her garden of fruit and vegetables. Some people wonder why her garden does well every year. Bees, baby!
My wife had me plant 12 lavender plant along the creek in the back and they are just now blooming and Im amazed at how many bee's they attract! Hummingbirds too.
my place too. But they are harmless. I go about my yard work with them buzzing around and we dont bother each other.
serious? i might try that next year. I can transplant some of the wild tulips from the other section.

Yeah alisha just told me the tulips wouldn't be the best. we planted sunflowers though so once they kick in...
Grow some lavender, honeysuckle, fuchsia and lilac if you want hummingbirds and plant clover if you want honeybees. I think any flower will attract honeybees but clover works best.
