I would never buy in Pahoa...that's always been crime central over there....some of the properties I've seen before from years of living there....mostly Keau or Mt View, Paradise Parks, etc....would love to go fishing with you if I end up back there. The vog in Kona always got to me....it's why I like Hilo side...I originally lived in Papaikou on the Hamakua coastline but let the lease on that old sugar plantation house go unfortunately....last time I lived in Paradis Park in a solar cabin surrounded by bananas and lilikoi ….way off the hiway

maybe wet side waimea? some less expensive though chillier spots. hamakua region is a personal favorite and the waimea hospital is the newest and better served than the other community healthcare. i have friends that are retired and living your dream in that area. white pineapple and avocados. wild pig are an issue everywhere.

my local friends over there used to grow pakalolo hoisted up in the canopy with ropes to keep the pigs away...and hunt boar in the cane fields.

a 329 medical permit allows for 10 plants for personal/medicinal use still. the dispensaries are trying to consolidate the caregiver permits but not there yet.

let's file this one under "those who don't know history's mistakes are doomed to repeat them".
"If public health is the main focus, then eradicate that from your mind," Nichols said. "The Spanish flu tells us that social distancing works. And it works best if we act early, act fast and stick together -- and base our decisions not on social or economic concerns, but on science and data and facts."

Trump seems to be literally saying that it is unacceptable for Fauci to have his own opinion.

I highly recommend both just to people watch and pass judgement. You know they have the fucking Tide laundry detergent locked up at the Walmart out here in Torrance. Toothpaste and deodorant too.

    Shit is straight up hood.

Red Lobsters food is trash tho. Cheddah biscuits are delicious

    COVID-19 Weekly Report, May 12, 2020
In Oregon there has been 2.1 cases per 10,000 kids under 19.
    Many Counties have had zero.
If we can stay with social distancing till Labor Day, I would say a good chance kids go back to school.

It's not Dr. Fauci's opinion, it's scientific facts.

It's phenomonal that people are being so impatient.

Though, to be fair, if the government wanted them to be patient, they'd give people more than $1,200 unless they are on unemployment.

It's shameful how entitled some in this country have become in the last few years. Gee, I wonder who they are emulating....

As of now they say there is a 3.1% positive rate even with the increase of # of test. That number is going in the right direction.
