Tonight was the graduation ceremony for the class of 2020 everywhere. LeBron, President Obama and many others celebrated with the kids. We have a few really close family friends whose kids were supposed to be graduating this year....it's been real tough for them and their families. I thought President Obama's speech was fantastic. A much needed speech and advice for today's youth. They don't get a lot of that lately. Sounded like the true leader he is.
My graduation was many years gone but I watched this, anything with Alicia Keys and President Obama is worth seeing.
Oh...is that what mags has been talking about? In that case, I totally understand and Obama is extremely guilty of that.

Hey HCP, just to veer off topic for a second, how's your daughter coping without being able to play winter league soccer and no spring tournaments? I know my kids would have been going stir crazy. One spring/summer my son was playing club soccer as well as baberuth baseball (they went to state and took 3rd) and then returned from LaGrande and had the Legion state playoffs in Hillsboro the following weekend l(and they took 3rd in state for that as well) I don't think my kids would have been able to deal with this (or maybe it's me that couldn't deal with not being able to watch them play sports.
It’s been tough. She is really missing playing. Training on our own and with her best friend every now and then. Bummed she is missing her spring season, but sucks she has missed out on 3 huge events. Big college showcase in PHX, her first college ID camp at UofP and most importantly she had been invited to train again with US Soccer again. She made the west region U-15 team and they had a camp that got canceled like everything else. Very bummed about that one. Shit my son doesn’t even know when he’s going back down to LA for college and if they are even having a football season this year!
