Did you see that Snopes link, where the actual person in the photo admitted it was him?

 

The community is doing it to themselves. Its fascinating the self-destructive nature of the people there. I'm pro-violence to get one's point across.

I think its better than peaceful protests or changing your profile picture or putting a ribbon on or whatever the fuck people do.

However, I also believe they should crack down hard on the destruction.

 

I'll accept that if it's true. Putting out fake picture like this isn't helping the situation whatsoever.

 

Curious as to where that thought of violence gets more done, comes from? Just trying to understand, as a person who believe all violence leads to more violence. I understand defending ones life or the life of another with violence, but if a life is not actively threatened, i'm not so sure it does any good at all.

For example in terrorism. Not only is it a near 100% failure rate, it usually leads to strengthening the opposition they tried to terrorize.

I do agree though, it is fascinating how humans behave, and to watch all of this unfold. Its like driving by a bad car accident over and over again. Cant help but just stare lock jawed in amazement.

 

Terrorism is intended to cause terror. When there are terrorist attacks on the US, they were indeed effective. Then they got bombed back to the stone ages in retaliation.

As far as violence getting more done, I just think its more honest than people marching in protest. If you're angry, destroying something is a better coping mechanism than shouting.
