This Sunday, May 31st, will mark the 30th anniversary of the Blazers winning the Western Conference Finals against the Suns.

My high school graduation at the Keller auditorium was the night of Game 1 of the finals 1990. Guy sitting next to me had a Sony watchman under his robe so we could watch!

I watched Game 6 on a Sony Watchman too! I was on a bus to Disneyland with my high school choir.

All of you youngsters and your tech toys. I remember having to go to one of my graduate courses at PSU during the championship series against the Sixers and covertly listening to the game on a transistor radio.

As I walking out of my high school graduation ceremony at Keller in 92' some guy was watching the very end of game 4 of The Finals on a portable TV. We were packed into a large crowd of people and the guy gave me viewing angle preference because I had just graduated. Best thing I ever got out of my high school diploma.

    EDIT: typo
