    Australian news crew assaulted by US cops

    An Australian journalist and cameraman have been assaulted by US police while reporting on protests outside the White House.

    Network Seven cameraman Tim Myers was hit with a riot shield and punched in the face, while reporter Amelia Brace was clubbed with a truncheon.

    Both were shot with rubber bullets and struggled to breathe after tear gas was thrown at the crowd.

    Prime Minister Scott Morrison described the attack as troubling and has asked for an investigation.

    and here in lies much of the problem in today's society, Labeling people as one (white liberal) clearly shows your bias and unable to see people as individuals. Do you seriously think you could pick out in a lineup of 5 guys and tell us which ones are liberals, conservatives, libetarian etc.? I'd bet $1000 you couldn't.

    Yeah, both sides are hypocrites. But one was being hypocritical because they wanted haircuts and think Covid19 is a hoax, and the other side thinks blacks should be treated equally.

    I'd rather be the latter and not the former. Nor would I want to defend the former.

    A friend of mine said something similar about that. He said he'd rather know you were racist/bigoted/etc, then not know. Because then at least he'd know he was dealing with the real you and not an act.
