Saw somewhere it's likely that each team playing 8 games will just be them playing the next 8 games on their schedule, of the 22 teams returning. SO if you have a game against GS scheduled, you skip it and go to the next one. If that's the case, our next 8 would be: Memphis Houston Dallas Boston Philly Brooklyn Utah Memphis
Would love to somehow catch Memphis, but really, we just need to stay ahead of anyone else for 9th and we have a chance. Memphis will have: Portland Utah S.A. OKC Milwaukee New Orleans New Orleans Boston
He was traded to the TWolves at the deadline. I don’t think he ever reported to Minnesota though and the rumor was he was going to be bought out. I can’t find any confirmation that that happened though. I think he’s in Portland though. Not sure if he could join the team if a buyout happened.
Man I don’t even know what day it is. But if there are, Lakers will be ahead of the line to pick them up. When was the buyout deadline? Did it pass?
So the teams aren’t playing the same amount of games overall so it’s not about losses. It’s about wins. If we are 9th in wins, we’re in.
Oh for fucks sake, that actually hurts us because we had games vs the bottom 8 remaining teams. We would actually be two games short because the majority of the games we had left were against the crappy teams. ughhh
So will we make up our games by playing the other teams that also need to make up games? Lakers v. Orlando/Miami Portland v. the other one Lakers v. Portland There, that does it. Do we want Orlando or Miami?
LAL and MIA. And we'd have to beat MEM both times in the play in. This is going to be an uphill battle and pretty unfair considering we already played our schedule of tough games and were just entering the easy portion
