I saw someone post something on Facebook that's appropriate here: saying that Antifa is an organization is like saying people who hate the Dave Matthews Band are an organization.

One of my disappointments while living in Bend was never getting the chance to hear DMB at Les Schwab Amphitheater over Labor Day weekend - kind of a staple booking for them.

Someone may have posted something but they are not a group the way the Proud Boys or Nazis are. It takes more than a couple guys saying "Hey, were gonna make this a group."
I'd like to add that the FBI researched the so called ANTIFA wanna-bes and found they were not involved in any violence during a Sunday night when there was much rioting. No looting, no windows broken, no fires set. Why not? Because the bulk of those espousing those ideals are not in favor of violence.

I would prefer her to Harris and the gal in Geo.
    We can disagree then.

    States)

Not to be confused with Black bloc.
Antifa (/ænˈtiːfə,ˈæntiˌfɑː/)[1] is a predominantly left-wing,[2][3][4][5] anti-fascist political activistmovement in the United States[11][16] comprising a diverse array of autonomous groups that aim to achieve their objectives through the use of direct action rather than through policy reform.[17][18][19][20] Antifa activists engage in protest tactics such as digital activism and militancy, involving property damage, physical violence and harassment against fascists, racists and those on the far-right.[25]

Individuals involved in the movement tend to hold anti-authoritarian[26] and anti-capitalist views,[27]subscribing to a range of left-wing ideologies such as anarchism, communism, Marxism, social democracy and socialism.[28][35] Both the name antifa and the logo with two flags representing anarchism and communism are derived from the German Antifa movement.[36]

    1. That's new. Where did you get that from?
    2. It says it's a movement and composed of a diverse array.
Look it up, it's not official. Grab a bullhorn and lead it in a new direction.
It's like saying someone is part of the hippie movement.

Problem is, by definition antifa isn't an organization here in the states thus it has been said that trump has no authority to ban something that isn't even an organization.

I agree. Once again to me it doesn’t matter what ones beliefs are if they create destruction and harm innocent people they need to be called out.
I’m for calling out white supremacy, corrupt cops and politicians and anarchist that want to destroy and hurt our capitalists democratic country.
To much at stake for my kids and grandkids generations.

Me and my girls favorite band. We were looking into going to Bend to see him, before all this Covid happened and it got cancelled.

Seen him at Clark County Amp and the Gorge.

As I posted previously Wikipedia says this about ANTIFA:
"Antifa is not a unified organization but rather a movement without a hierarchical leadership structure, comprising multiple autonomous groups and individuals."

I saw him at the Waikiki Shell for the Kokua Festival. Not a fan. Shit was booooring. Was opening up for Jack Johnson, most of the crowd were DMB people.

Yeah, I'm not really a Dave Mathews Band fan. There are some songs I enjoy and have seen him on concert on tv where he is more appealing live, but don't see me ever buying (downloading) any of his albums. I'm an aging rocker. :smiley-smiley-049:

She'd have to take time out from her pedophile ring to plan that.

I agree. If he was part of a festival or something I might stop in and check it out, but I never understood going to the gorge JUST for Dave Matthews.

On that note, RIP the Sasquatch Festival. Some of the highlights in life happened there in my youth. I promise there was no alcohol of drugs involved.

In my youth days Ranier put on several concerts for free at Delta Park and at Washinton Park along with a couple at Mt. Tabor. Mostly local bands and some lower level out of town bands. Great times.

I went all the way to the Gorge from LA to catch Jack Johnson. Well worth it. I had sold my tickets at the Hollywood bowl for like double and that paid for my plane fare and 4 tix to the Gorge show. It was fun as fuck.

First and only time there. Somehow we walked all the way down to the pit area even though we had lawn tickets way at the top. Just rolled right by security.
