I was thinking about what it's going to be like for NBA teams to be in "the bubble" for the remainder of this season. It's going to be like some kind of BioDome. It's really going to shine a light on which teams are tight and which teams have cliques or have lingering discord. Imagine the Arenas-era Wizards in this environment - somebody would literally get shot. Also, there will be a ton of gambling, so people will rack up gambling debts (as they do on card games on team planes already) and that's going to add to it. On the other hand, you're going to be around players from other teams. Remember how the LeBron-Wade-Bosh Heat was cooked up in the course of an All-Star weekend? Well, how many superteams are going to be planned when everybody's locked up together for months? The Bucks must be super-glad the Warriors aren't one of the 20 teams so they can't go full recruitment on Giannis. But other teams (like the Heat, again) sure will.

I think living in Orlando, at a hotel, in the Disney complex, and for three months (for the eventual finalists) sounds like hell. Anything beyond 10 days in a hotel gets long. They will get bored. Miss home. Want home cooking. Get sick of the rooms, etc.

The cap situation makes it harder to build a superteam these days.

Well i guess if you are going to be in a motel for months the Disney Complex (Dolphin, Swan, Riviera) is probably the best place to do it.

Yeah just don't wander into that lake. I am pretty sure that is where the alligator snatched that kid a few years back.

There are signs all over the place about watching out for wildlife around the lake.

Another thing I wondered about: with no fans, are they still going to play the National Anthem before games? They might be uncomfortable about that anyway, given the large number of players who are likely to kneel given the current climate.
