My main interest in dogs died with my beloved Tonto when I was 12. That broke my heart like you wouldn't believe. I must have cried every day for over a month. My mother and my brother cried aloong with me. My father was divorced from my mother and living in Atlanta when it happened. I remember my dog being in the Veterinary clinic at the West end of the Broadway bridge, I believe on Lovejoy street. I went there on my bike with a friend to visit my sick dog. The doctor was very nice and offered to let me back in the employee only area to visit my dog for as long as I'd like even though it was after closing hours. They must have seen the love between me and my beloved faithful companion. I thought he would get better but he had some sort of urinary tract problem from us feeding him salmon. Don't feed you dogs salmon. You've never seen a little boy with a heart broken as bad as mine was when he died.
OMG, talk about the epitome of filth. Who's got a heart that evil? I'll bet her husband is no bundle of joy.
Just got a call from my mom that they had to put Sydney down. 10 year old golden retriever, cancerous lump burst in her lungs and there was nothing they could do. She was a good pup, her tail was always wagging! Even wagged my drink off the table a time or two.
My dog often did that. It got to the point where I think he was just doing it so he could lap up the alcohol. Anyhow, he would lap it clean even licking the inside of the glass clean so I could just put it back on the shelf. So, who's coming to my house for drinks?
I've got 12 yr old Chivas Regal and my favorite, 13 yr old Haig and Haig Pinch aka The Dimple Pinch. Both are blends. I use to have two single malts, both 12 yrs old but I didn't like them so drank them up and never bought any more.
