im more interested in his agility and footspeed myself as well. We have shooters. We need him outstepping others in the paint.

Yeah, its cool and all to see him hit some outside shots, but its not gonna be a regular thing when the season starts, id put money on it.

Wait. We have Stott's as a coach. I could be wrong on this.

It always good to put another skill in your offense arsenal for Nurk but his bread and butter will be the pick n roll.

In terms of just natural raw talent, Nurk has a ton of it. Little exposure to the game growing up and now look at what he can do. Born to play the game.

Nurk merch is the pinnacle of hipster, can’t wait to confuse everyone with a Bosnian beast beanie.

Yeah, I just picked up a Nurk 27 tee. A bit expensive for what it is, but today was payday so I said screw it.

That would be terrible defensively IMO. I'd never play them together.

Nurkic splashing 3s. I am starting to think that it’s reasonable that Nurkic should be able to at the very least be close to league average for 3 point. His form is looking good. I wouldn’t be surprised if he knock down 35% of his 3s

What makes you think that? Practice clips? He's never come close to shooting 35% on volume from 3. We need to see it over multiple games before we get our expectations that high. Even Hassan can consistently make 3s just shooting around. Apparently Tacko Fall does too...

It's definitely possible, but not something we should expect.

It's not just practice clips. Stotts has said it too. He should know better than anyone.

It's not just practice clips? Okay, show me the statistics from NBA games where Nurkic has shot the 3pt shot well.

Stotts has said he's shot well in practice. Did I miss something?

Dude I say that it was reasonable. I didn’t say I was expecting it. And if he does knock down at league average then we shouldn’t be surprised from all the practice clips we’ve seen. And I like to share with you one example from the past that may give you hope. Before the 2016/17 season Marc Gasol was a career 18% 3 point shooter (12/66). But during that season Marc Gasol broke out as a 3 point shooter, shooting 38.8% on 3.6 attempt a game. Since then he has remained a very good shooter from that range, especially for a big man. Now Nurkic so far in his career has been a 7% from 3s. Last year he was shooting 10%. I am NOT expecting Nurkic to make as big as a jump that Marc Gasol has but that it’s reasonable that he be close to league average, like at least 30%. And eventually it will get to league average. It’s obvious Nurkic is working very hard to include 3 point shot in his game, like he’s actually moving around knocking down 3 point shot and not just standing still and shooting it like what we see from Hassan and other guys like Tacko Fall, Dwight Howard, Javale McGee, and I for one like to think that hard work will pay off.
