It's not when you open anyway, it's how you open. The virus isn't and never did go anywhere and warmer weather doesn't kill the virus.

It's just a little flu. Who cares.

    Edit,

OK, that was a little mean. Apologies. Hope test comes back negative. But would you please take this serious? It's not a joke.

You are correct, of course, Lanny. I meant it in the more general way as in the rate at which we’re seeing people die. I should have simply said “the number of deaths”.

what the hell kind of a store is that?....the candlelit kanes section is bigger than the grocery section; and I have no clue what a candlelit kane is. This is where you say you don't know either and your wife drug you in there.

how bad is the pandemic in Texas?

    * "Amarillo’s worried about their hospital capacity, but yesterday they received a COVID 19 patient flown up from South Texas, where there are zero ICU beds — had to find a fixed-wing air ambulance for the patient, because that’s too far for a helicopter to bring somebody to the hospital." *

    * " The point I wanted to make is that people are having to travel close to 700 miles for an ICU bed in parts of Texas.
Ambulances from San Angelo are in Harlingen. Ambulances in McAllen and Harlingen are having to wait in line, often for hours, to deliver patients to the ER — and the ER is stacking patients up in recliner chairs, with makeshift curtains dividing them, because the ICUs are full, the floors are full, the ERs are full, and people keep coming in needing help.

This thing isn’t over. Not by a long shot.

Trump and Abbott think they’re going to get schools back in regular operation in three weeks? They better think again. Nothing’s going to be back to regular operations in three weeks
    ." *

(the author might be going overboard a bit, but not being in Texas makes it hard to judge)

    Two good, affordable options:

    Tom Binh are great.
    https://www.tombihn.com/collections/facemasks

So are Adidas (these are way more breathable than most)
    https://www.adidas.com/us/face_masks

On the pricy end, this is what I'm rocking today:
    https://killspencer.com/products/sst-face-mask

@ABM , you may like these masks. They are a little fun, there are some college teams, etc. They are pretty breatable, they aren't the tightest, but when I wore them, and breathe out, it filtered out a bit (which is how I test how good they probably will be). Its better than nothing though.

The disposible medical masks may be good (50 pack for 20 bucks). I have a big head though and they straps always break. They are generally breathable but you really aren't supposed to take off and put on multiple times in a day. I was using them for a while but they kept snapping.

Get a portable spray sanitizer too. Keep it in your pocket at all times. Spray down anything you touch beforehand. When I take off my mask and put it on the dashboard, I spray it.

This isn't pocket sized, but you can refill little bottles:

You can get 2oz bottles for like 2 bucks each.

I keep a Pump sanitizer in the side door of my car. Every time I go in, I pump some. Put one in the trunk too. I found the GermX brand the least offensive smelling, you can get at target sometimes, it goes in and out of stock.

Keep in mind, washing your hands is better than using sanitizer. Sanitizer is just a secondary defense if you are out and about and aren't around a place to wash your hands.
