Curious how the secretary of Defense assess this will cost billions to do? move 12 thousand troops and their supplies? You can fit 500 troops and their supplies in a C5. So 24 C5s being loaded up and flying to wherever is going to cost billions?

Id like to see the breakdown of how that assessment came about...Also. Years? YEARS? Dear God if we ever get into a war and need to relocate troops to a front line somewhere, we might get there in years.....

i'm not buying the details of this.

Untrue. Merkel was publicly told this would happen at the G& summit, numerous times over the last 3 years on twitter, and since when does the USA need to consult a Foreign Country about bringing our troops home? POTUS Trump campaigned on removing our troops from ungrateful nations who refused to cover the cost, and most definitely to stop the practice of wars for profit which is the only valid reason to have that many troops there in the first place.

The Democratic War For Profit Party can whine all they want.

LOL, please... both parties LOVE their For-Profit Wars. If you can't acknowledge that, then you have ZERO credibility. Not that ANYBODY in here, save for ABM, believes any of you.

Right, let's force the Germans to build a big army. What could go wrong?

Then we'll have to stop starting wars! The best part of Trump is that he is antiwar.

No...he's pro war, he just is letting China, Russia, Iran and N Korea expand their militaries, form an alliance and give us a good long war that will level a lot of properties for hotels and golf courses....this is how stable geniuses get their jollies! He'll have Walmart and Costco in the arms business before you know it!

No, she was not told. Fact.
On the occasions that you speak of she was warned. The sudden move came as a shock to her.

Read the second to the last paragraph and then get back to me:

1929 was when they hadn't been as thoroughly defeated by their own hand. Back then they had been defeated by a virus, the 1918 flu. Now they see what can happen and for all the reasons that they now view as good and just. I've known many Germans through the years and all take a different view on the sanctity of human life different from anything in pre WW II Germany. They not only see what can happen in the extreme but they view the world differently. Anything to do with Nazis is now forbidden.
