He was +3, so by definition he didn't cost us the game.

Dame went on his run with Whiteside setting screens for him.

I'd take Stevens over Stotts any day

Way to throw Dame under the bus.

Tragedy was that Marcus Smart slipped and Dame was pretty open, too.

That pass to Nurk was so uncharacteristic of Dame. I guess even the most clutch guys chokes sometimes but we wouldn't have even been in the game if it weren't for Dame's second half. I really think this game not only will give this team confidence going forward but also light a fire because they let it slip away. I think Dame and Nurk will both be huge against Houston. I also think Stotts has to sit Melo or Zach and start Gary. The match ups dictate that we go smaller but Nurk will give them real problems when we have the ball. I think you sit Melo because Zach has more foot speed.

Portland has more to play for. I expected Portland to lose, but I don't think I would bash Stevens for blowing a 24 point lead either.

If we could trade Stotts for Stevens, I would do it in a heartbeat.

No, that was a terrible shot. It’s only considered a “good” shot because it went in. And I don’t give a shit what Dames %age is from 30ft+. If he shot more from the actual three point line instead of 5-10 feet beyond it, his %age would be much better imo.

Took them long enough to think oh yeah, let's set screens for Dame so he can actually take shots

We're not in the game without him. He did choke but that doesn't cancel out everything he did to get us in position to win. This should be obvious.

It’s not throwing him under the bus if that’s what happened. There’s no way the plan was to go for two without a timeout. I get frustrated with Stotts at times, but he’s not a moron.

It makes sense when you watched the game. Whiteside was in the stretch where we got back into the game because

    1.) Dame went supernova.

2.) Celtics made a lot of blunders during that time

Most of it was not Whiteside related.

NO! Dame shoots a better % 43, from deep, than he does at the line. Check your facts

Dame also played all 24 minutes and you saw multiple times where the dude gave up his body to try and win this game.

Like bruh, really? We aren't in this game without Dame. Everyone else gets their baskets playing around Dame.
