When we vote for an opposing player for Our loss, it proves we lacked the will to take this game.

You guard Harden and let Westbrook shoot the ball. The Bucks tried it but Westbrook actually made some shots. Russ also got to the line.
I expect the Blazers will follow suit and the way they have been fouling teams, the Rockets will shoot 50 free throws at least.

The key is defending without fouling, especially Zach. He has yet to show he can do that. And Nurk needs to be patient and scoring inside will be easy.

One thing I have noticed is that our bigs do not get close enough to 3 pt. shooters and so they shoot right over them, I think with two bigs always in, they have to just give the offense the drive and then look to rotate.

Well this fucking blows. It seems like he's not being allowed for primarily technical reasons, which is dumb. We could really use him.

Damn, Ariza sure would've been helpful.

If his visitation window got moved up and he can join the team now, why is that information not taken into consideration by the NBA? This was information that was not available at the time the decision was made. And given the fact that the Blazers lost another player who opted out of the bubble why can't they just follow the same quarantine procedures and allow Ariza? He may not be able to play for the seeding games but he can definitely play in the playoffs if we get there.

Right, but it seems our GM could have been prepared for different outcomes (like visitation ending early) and done this differently.

That's really annoying. Does Dame have enough pull with the league to get them to make an exception?

Maybe Neil did try that, but Trevor said it was cut and dry on his visitation time frame.

I still can't fault or dislike Ariza or any other player for not joining during the pandemic.

Against Boston, Terry Stotts blitzed one time defensively, and it lead to an open 3.

Last night me & @hoopsjock went in on all the (fixable) reasons why that blitz failed (it wasnt "personnel"), and why it shouldnt have resulted in us abandoning the idea. Video starts at the beginning of our breakdown.

Terry on the radio this morning said the top five defensive teams in the league allow the most 3PT FGA.

This is true but a bullshit answer. Of course the best defensive teams have a lot of attempts against them for 3 because they are usually blowing teams out.

It's so fucking bullshit to say attempts and not %.
