With Harry Giles being a free agent he could likely be had for cheap and could be a low cost type player that Olshey tends to target. If he can get over the injury bug, he showed he could be a pretty good player and was once considered the top pick in that draft class before his injuries.

If you think I blocked you because you have a different opinion, you're mistaken. Theres people I follow and who follow me that I disagree with mightily.

Dehydration is probably a cover for "flu" or something. If they came out and said "flu" everyone would have started speculating heavily.

I already have shirts! Hope to launch hats in the offseason.

Platform just has to grow to make Merch a real moneymaker. We're launching a sleek full scale website in late September. Been in the process of landing writers for it. Would love to compete with BlazersEdge in that space on day.

It's funny, I really couldn't care less if people disagree with me.

I started blocking people that like to continually bring up old shit. People who make it personal instead of attacking the topic at hand. For example, I block Eric because Eric has some weird gatekeeping idea of who is and who is not a fan, and it gets tiresome so I'd rather just not see it. There have been a few others. The forum is just much much nicer without a handful of people. And hey, maybe I annoy some people. Feel free to block me. I probably won't notice.

Oh sorry bro. I have tried a couple times to log on and can't get there because it seem as though i am blocked. I see Hoops post it all the time on twitter but can't ever get on.
Maybe it's something i'm doing wrong. I was thinking the link was through twitter and it says your name so i can't get on. I'll try again the next time i see it.

If there’s ever a time to break out a 2-3 zone this might be the series. Pack it in make them beat you from the outside keep Lebron on perimeter and Out of his favorite play (pick and roll). I’m not saying do it whole game but I’d definitely use it in spurts especially if Bron or Davis get hot. Imagine both Nurkic and Whiteside down low.

By the way I’d give them few Pistons fouls when they came inside let them know price to be paid when you come inside.

That really has not been a good thing to do in the bubble. At least to this point. They are handing out T's for emotional responses and Flag 1 for too much body. I could see a purposeful hard foul bringing a Flag 2 easy the way these games have been officiated.

Still, we won our games and made the playoffs. Not bad for a team that was hurting severely throughout most of the season.

Does anyone have confidence in this coaching staff coming up with a strategy on the fly to mitigate our weaknesses in this series?

    I don't.

Terry's D against Houston keeps ringing in my mind that they are somewhat capable of doing SOMETHING different. But the defense against 29 other teams is indication that when you dig deeper, there really isn't anything there.

Why does it have to be "On The Fly"?
3 days to prepare and really if they were going to get in they knew their opponent. The team that had to wait to prepare was the Lakers. They didn't know who they were going to play until Saturday. But still they got 3 days to prep and they were probably expecting Portland anyway.

Terry himself said they did 0 preparation for LA during the seeding games. Not blaming him-- why would they.

Still three days and they knew their opponent if they got in. Why on the fly? Still no answer? They have scouts. People who watched the Lakers play. There are reports and plenty of video. How do you get "On The Fly"?

They need to smuggle in Ariza and give him Mario's jersey. Think anyone would notice?

I'm calling BS on this. The Blazers have had ample time to prepare for this first game. Not that you are wrong here.
I just feel they knew who their opponent was going to be if they got in. They have scouts and assistant coaches. They have 8 games worth of video and video from the season. If Stotts or anyone came out and said they had to prepare on the fly and had no time to prepare i would absolutely COOK them.
The Lakers will be ready for the Blazers. The Blazers better be ready for game one or this is gonna get real ugly real quick.
