This shit with Little doesn't even make the slightest bit of sense. Dehydration does not take you out for 8 -10 days. Have we even got that actual word on Collins? Is this an ankle sprain? Did he get an MRI? What's the word here? Hope he is drinking water or this could go on for the whole series.
Collins will be missed because he is a body, and he takes up a lot of space. Fortunately, that is all he does.
I think what you do in that situation is manage CJ a little different... Trent gets minutes at the three and two, CJ gets minutes at the two and more than usual at the one, Dame plays most of the game at the one... probably all but 8-10 minutes and Rio plays the minutes Trent doesn't at the three spot (Rio probably logs too many minutes in the scenario but that's the reality we are living in) and yes if you want to rest CJ or Dame a little more maybe you give Ant two little 2 minute stints. In this rotation Melo plays all of his minutes at the four spot and Gabriel gets significant minutes at the four as well. Obviously Nurk and Whiteside would play all of the minutes at five... absolutely no small ball five for us even if they go really small.
You can try and tell me different, but with Zach out, the ONLY person who can replace his production is Swanigan. Double whammy
I think Gabriels is a better defender and rebounder than Biggie....definitely a better shot blocker...and he's the same height as Biggie
Zach was a difference maker in the positive in every bubble game with the exception of the Nets and Sixers, to say otherwise is just looking the other way because it fits your narrative. Edit: Obviously he didn't have an impact on the play-in game because of the injury.
Oh I thought he was just agreeing with you and actually laughing at your sarcastic joke which is still wrong... Zach was a net positive for us in the bubble of +22. I realize that he is a starter so +/- isn't too reliable because he is admittedly our starter that has the least impact but he still has a positive impact and we needed those minutes of positive impact against AD and the Lakers in general.
