    I voted for small govt last election because I want govt to do a basically functional albeit boring job of running the budget and agencies so that I don't have to spend time thinking about govt....The GOP has taken that completely out of the equation....because of their recent incompetence I cannot travel safely or even shop safely with my heart issues....yeah...and the longer they deny safe practices the longer I am in self imposed quarantine....these things tend to change the political landscape a bit. The GOP has made the whole country have no choice but to question the lack of leadership and dishonesty we face right now...gloves are off

    That's just it, if anyone needs proof of what trump is like as a president, just listen to him and all his lies. I feel I am intelligent enough to decipher bullshit from truth and just because a reporter writes a negative story about trump doesn't make that person a "left leaner", a lot of it is the truth. The fact checkers have severely exposed trump and fact checking isn't just a partisan act.

    Trump has coined the "fake news" defense since elected....it's how he continues to lie without being held accountable...

    Not any more they just execute executive orders, both Obama & Trump. When Obama lost majority thats what he did same with Donny.

    Obama tried to get a Supreme Court appointee for a year his last year in office and the GOP stonewalled him all the way...one judge....Trump has packed the courts...for conservatives that's the only win they get from Trump's fake presidency

    I cannot in good conscience vote for a Democrat or a Republican, I may have been willing to listen about Yang or Bernie because I thought they had different idea's and I had criticisms of both of them, but I think Bernie, especially in 2016, had a decent track record of doing what he preached even if I disagreed with him on some of his ideas/plans. I'm going to vote based on my thoughts, opinions, values, and I accept that I could be wrong. I don't hate individuals in either party, I do have a very strong dislike or "hate" if you want, of the Democrat and Republican Elites and how they manipulate people. If you feel strongly you have to vote for Biden then you should. I'd encourage people to vote their conscience.
    Edit: I kind of Liked Pete too maybe in 4-8 years he can try again, I would need to actually go study up on him more though.

    I wanted Yang from the start but not badly enough to watch Trump win....my feeling now is that for the health of the country we all need to send Trump packing as soon as possible...I encourage that from all camps...Joe was my last choice from the democratic field but Harris helps....I want younger leadership moving ahead...that isn't an option this time. This election isn't about me...it's about the future generations of my family....

    Executive orders don't cover everything and congress needs to be involved to pass major bills.

    agree, put I'm not that optimistic that future bi partisanship will prevail enough with congress to compromise. Its winner take all or nothing it seems now.

    No, I'm saying that whatever voter fraud there is so is so tiny, so insignificant, virtually zero that to even dwell on it borders on stupid. I'm sure there are people who might fraudulently vote if the penalty was less but even then there's just no incentive for significant numbers of people to fraudulently vote. So, we have no evidence that any fraudulently voting is anywhere near significant enough to effect even the vote for dog catcher of a tiny town and there is no incentive to do so.
    This is why I'm continually amazed that anyone would continue bringing the subject up.
    The only thing I fear is the sleazy attempt by Republicans to disenfranchise voters of color on made up crap that should have been relegated to the dust heap years ago by even the most brief thinking.

    Two points:
    1. Without Trump calling the shots in primaries, I predict that Republicans will return to a more normal mode in the future;
    2. This January, you're going to see an entire Congress working together to get things done and most of the Trump damage repaired,. which sadly, will be done with or without bipartisan support. However, there will be a slow return to bipartisanship begining with the tossing out of Trump in January.

    Didn't happen under Obama in second term when republicans had majority. I hope so, but with the progressives putting so much pressure on the democratic party Im not sure its all going to being across isle chummy lets work together.
    I will be a mazed if it is because it really hasn't been that for a while. Its like years ago, marriages would stay together because of the kids and try and work thing out, that doesn't happen much anymore.

    Obama had a lot of "Blue Nosed" Democrats who won't be there in January. Plus, even the Blue Nosed Democrats supported Obama Care.

    Right now as I’m chilling at the neighborhood Starbucks, this guy in plain clothes took away this mailbox right on the corner...... no uniform, nothing. Just walked up, unscrewed the bolts on the bottom and took it away. A couple walking by started asking him questions. Just so confused by all of this.
