    The Blazers were much shorter and much slower than the Lakers. They wanted it more. We not only looked like dwarfs, we were unexcited dwarfs.

    That's why we fouled so much.

    Well, Kenny Smith just said it best. If your system is to switch everything, then it wouldn’t matter if you had the best defender in the world. The offense would know this and just set a pick to get the defender off of the matchup. Portland switches on half ass screens that don’t even need to be switched. When you switch everything, your defense is constantly compromised and scrambling.
