This is called affecting change. NBA started it --> trickles to other sports --> sponsors hurt --> pockets affected --> result.
They'll play it out next time when Dame, Rodney and Zach are all healed and Ariza is ready...it's a theme
I do not see this ending the playoffs. I think it's more likely that it's just for tonight to draw attention, and then the games resume.
Even the courts say BLACK LIVES MATTER and the jersey's are all in support...the NBA and at least the Blazers have come out in support of this movement across the board...I don't think the league will argue about it if it ends now....I'm sure it'll trim a lot of paychecks which unfortunately will hurt the HCPs of the league more than the Damian Lillards
Maybe a few days, but I agree. I would give major props to players like LBJ who would actually sacrifice the chance of winning another championship in order to really draw attention to it. But in the end, they will say they can draw more attention to the issue by actually playing. (Which is true)
Hey arguing people, go to the thread about this in the OT forum if you wanna continue. That's where your posts are being moved.
so, i cant even voice an opinion or state facts about something without it being moved now? awesome.....
You can still voice your opinions. This thread is about the boycotts. You're wanting to discuss what led up to the boycott and your opinions on the person who was shot by the police. I believe those are two different discussions.
It's not just NBA folks... https://clutchpoints.com/mlb-news-brewers-boycott-game-vs-reds-wake-jacob-blake-shooting/ Brewers boycott game vs. Reds in wake of Jacob Blake shooting
