Yes, you keep saying things like this.

WHAT EXACTLY OF BLM'S POSTED AGENDA DO YOU THINK HAS CLOUDED ITSELF?

Not what the strawman agendas attributed to BLM you keep posting about.

Of the criminal justice reforms on the BLM's websites which ones, and the corresponding legislation that has either been proposed or passed do you think has clouded itself?

You show me where BLM agendas are actually manifesting themselves in compelling manners at our houses of law, as opposed to being trotted out on a website that any two or three people could generate from their basements. I'm not being flippant here. As I told you before, BLM has been around for a LONG time. Why is it all we seem to see on our televisions are the BLM signs and people screaming and fighting amongst themselves? It's due time for that all to stop.

As an aside. I want to see GROWTH of Portland Black business. Not destruction of them therein.

I have shown you that. Including in this thread. You just refuse to acknowledge it or even discuss it.

    Actually you are.

Wow, I didn't know that, lolz.

Maybe watch something other than Fox News.

Again, Sly....you've shown me stuff related on web pages. Nothing more. Does that make it reality...that there's actually traction in the streets (other than the protest)? Show me that.

LOL! I have shown you legislative change and new laws.

How those laws affect the treatment of black people by law enforcement will not be known for many years.

Your moving target of what black people should do and act like is very sad.

Remember your false complaints so far.

    No national leadership. WRONG

    No grassroots leadership. WRONG

    No national agenda. WRONG

No grassroots or local agenda. WRONG

Now they don't act like you think they should. SAD

I will give you credit in the arguments you've made, when it comes to BLM it's not the LM you don't like, it's the B.

    What floor? Out where exactly?

I have not yelled at all. Actually I have tried multiple times to engage you in a factual and calm discussion.

Where did I say anything about Candace Owens or Herschel Walker? Again you're creating strawmen and wanting to argue against it.

Really, you've brought me talking points and empty promises. Nothing more. I see empty suits. Oh, other than what we're ALL seeing in the streets.

Again, I did not. There has been passed legislation in many cities and states that is linked on the brokenwidows website. I linked and provided screen captures showing that and very politely explained to you how to find further examples. I left it open for you to maybe pick one subject and maybe we can have discussion about it.

If passed legislation, including just last month in Oregon, are empty promises and empty suits then that's on you, not me.

BTW, it is interesting that a Blazer great died today and all you want to talk about on main page of the Blazer forum is yourself.

There are many other viewpoints on the matter. Again, I really like what Candace Owens has to say regarding BLM. Then, there's Herschel Walker. Ever heard of him?

Love Walker, it's his trade off the Cowboys that gave them multiple Super Bowls.

Emmitt Smith, Russell Maryland, Kevin Smith, and Darren Woodson, ever heard of them?

ABM, Whether you agree with all the notions of the organization BLM is fine. It is after all a political organization, You listen to ABL, YoungRippa99, Officer Tatum, Larry Elder, Candace Owen, Tyrone Magnus, Black and White Sports, Thomas Sowell, they dont disagree with concept of the saying Black Lives Matter, and only the very extreme of the bunch of conservative Black community would tell you racism isnt an issue.
heck even Ali’s son said he thought it was racist here.
    https://www.google.com/amp/s/nypost...ays-he-wouldve-hated-black-lives-matters/amp/
Its a political organization though people can be free to disagree or agree with certain aspects of it. What I would encourage you to do though is listen to Black people, listen to other people of color, and empathize with them and in as much you can try to be part of the solution towards racism in the country not the head the sand just pretend every the organization does is bad, and its all just bogus. Listen to people you disagree with it doesnt mean you need to agree, but if you cant at least understand where they might be coming from, you cant really act to care about those people. There’s a lot of people on this forum I disagree with their politics, they disagree with mine, but as this is a place for discussion what good does it do any of us if we arent at least trying to give an honest attempt at understanding the other posters POV’s.
Nassir Little actually had a pretty good tweet about BLM a few days ago.

I keep tabs open to Google News and Drudge. So I get a very fair and balanced news feed from all sides of the political spectrum and not once, not once have I seen an article from that piece of shit news organization. If these are the different voices you were talking about then yes, we most certainly do listen to different ones, comrade!

If I ran Black Lives Matter, I'd:

    1) Place booths in conspicuous places in each of our major cities, and especially in each of the hot spot cites

    2) Staff each of the booths with trained volunteers who would enthusiastically and empathetically engage with the people - taking responses, complaints, offered solutions, and the like. The staff would capture each of the responses then send those back up through the BLM internal channels

    3) Give out printed matter in the booths that relate the BLM history, mission, and any other pertinent information related to current situations at hand. These printed pieces should be presented as a solutions-based packet....not gripes and complaints

    4) Set-up a Hot Line whereas people can call in or send voicemails and share what's on their collective minds. Capture all information and send back up through the channels

    5) Invite myself and selected staff to the news outlets as to: share our ongoing mission; report comments/concerns/questions from the booths/hotline; while also sharing our concerns and responses as an organization

    6) Continue to make presence on the talk shows, etc. as to provide an ongoing "face" to our organization while providing continued feedback as to how we are continuing to respond to the issues at hand

    7) If possible, speak on the house floor and garner support from any and all interested parties. Work to lock arms with any one or more of them towards getting bills sponsored and the like

These are just a few ideas off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more rolling around in there......
