I mean both sides do this. Have you seen what people were wearing to stand up the the Feds a few weeks back? It's like a mixture of Roman Legionnaires and American Gladiator. They have shields, face masks, armor, the whole shebang.
You mean the same people who think COVID is a hoax? Or that wearing a mask is against their constitutional rights?
This type of behavior from him shouldn't shock me after all these years, but this is horrible....... i'm trying to raise my children in this world when the supposed "leader" of the free world is putting this out there. To think there are people in this forum who read those tweets and see nothing wrong with that. Unreal.
I was reading through some of his drivel, and wondered something. How would they have reacted if Obama said 1/1000th as much shit on twitter as Trump does.
The problem is that people have become so entrenched in their beliefs that they have to continue to back him because fuck the libs. But at the same time, how the hell can the dems decide to put Biden up against Trump? It's like they learned nothing from 2016. I just don't get it. I'm so completely disenfranchised from American politics at this point. Both parties are awful and I'm completely apathetic about our future. It's like the US government is the Portland Trail Blazers. I know we're just gonna end up with Stotts, Dame, and CJ every year, and we have no shot at winning a title. Similarly, I know we're gonna end up with some mediocre President at best, or a horrible one at worst, and things are either going to continue to be moderately shitty for people, or they're going to be extremely shitty. There is no good. There is no hope. There is no promising. It's just mediocre or shit.
The best thing is, all these tweets will be archived and put into text books in the future to be taught to our younger generations for years and years.
I am impressed by the people who on one hand can claim they don't like him talking/tweeting like that, and on the other hand, are actually perfectly fine with him talking/tweeting like that. History won't be kind to this era.
