One thing i can’t wrap head around is just what people think Trump has done for them. Most people say “well the economy is amazing!” Is it? Or has the stock market had some great gains (and losses)? Unemployment numbers? Ok maybe pre pandemic. What else? Does the typical Trump fan think he cares about them at all? Religious people? I can at least understand a millionaire/billionaire loving trump. I don’t agree with it but at least there is a reason. What the fuck does JimBob in Louisiana get out of Trump? All those amazing stock gains? I think honestly 90% of Trump supporters don’t actually like or believe in trump. They just hate the libs. That’s it. If hitler came back and ran for president these people would have to own the libs and just couldn’t vote for Joe Biden.
How do people feel about their tax dollars and their DOJ being used to defend a guy accused of rape 25 yrs ago?
Does it fucking matter? You are OK with your tax dollars going towards this? Who cares if he's innocent? I didn't say he was or wasn't. The DOJ is defending him in a civil case. That's OK, now?
are you kidding me? Does it matter? Its ALL that matters. I can accuse you of rape now. Does that make it a fact you are a rapist??? And no one should defend you????? i know you are more logical than this. be better.
huh? I never you said any of that. Its an example. You are right. Your responses are complete amateur hour. You asked me if it matters whether he was accused or convicted. One is a judgement of guilt, the other is not. Do i really need to explain what constitutes guilty vs an accused opinion? Be better. You are smarter than this.
THAT IS NOT WHAT I SAID. READ MY POST I said NOTHING about the case. I am asking if you are OK with the Department of fucking Justice defending him in a civil sexual assault case that he was accused of 25 yrs ago and using his Presidency NOW as immunity towards it.
actually is what you said. Read above. That was your response to me asking if he was accused or convicted. You asked why it should matter. Its right there in the post. Try again....
But are you ok with that? Trump having the department of Justice be his lawyer for a rape case, regardless of his innocence, using his presidency as immunity?
Y'all need a fucking moderator. Either that or people need to stop engaging with Orion, since he continues to state that he's just trolling. Illmatic said: then Orion said: As the Totally Impartial Moderator here, I am going to deduct points from Orion. The point made was that the DOJ shouldn't be involved in a civil case. Whether or not he is innocent does not matter to the case and the DOJ's involvement in it.
ahh i get it now. My apologies. I miss understood the original question. no its not right. But why did i close my ears for a moment? Because of the damn yelling and condescending attitude. It closes people up from listening. THIS is what ive been on about for over a year now and here is first hand proof. People dont listen when they are being yelled at or ridiculed. Yet it just continues and continues.... so yes @illmatic99 i apologize i was wrong and incorrectly read your post. But ive also explained why...
Ms. Carroll accused Trump of having raped her. He said this was not true and she is a liar and besides too ugly. She sued for defamation because he said she is a liar. Trump's attorney William Barr moved the case to federal, very questionable legally, claiming that Trump's remarks about Ms. Carroll were within the scope of his duties and therefore he cannot be sued. Also, a judgment against him would be paid by we taxpayers. Now, no one is saying he was convicted of rape. The question is should the supposed attorney general be defending him in this case? If there is a civil judgment should we have to pay it?
