Sounds an awful lot like you are defending him. What he said was uncalled for. I am sure he will probably say that is why since you spelled out a defense for him.

There are plenty of stereotypes. Regardless, Crandc was affronted by his words. She took them as an attack on her religion and ethnicity. She had the right to call it out.

ok...I'm trying to follow this....a right wing poster made a comment to a Jewish poster that stereotyped Jewish people. The Jewish poster called out the right wing poster for the dumb stereotype

and you're saying the Jewish poster was out of line?

Cran can call out abm’s comment all she wants and has every right to tell him why she doesn’t like Trump.

I simply took issue with the term ‘goysplaining’. It seems to suggest everyone who isn’t Jewish is part of some similar group of thinking. Its just not true. Any ‘splaining’ term is ridiculous.

Unless ABM is jewish he has no place speaking about what a Jewish person should or shouldn't like.

If he isnt Jewish and is presumptiously speaking for Jewish people then yes he is Goysplaining

I've got relatives that would have paid upwards of $3 for such a sweater, especially if it had been made in acrylic. That's right, money is no object for my brother-in-law who tips in a restaurant at about 3% and claims the wait staff is glad to get it. Of course, for him a fancy dinner is $12 at the Golden Corral. Oops, forgot, he gets in for a late lunch and hangs around to get the dinner a few minutes later for the price of a lunch.

These are Trumps responses to the Corona Virus in Feb.
    February 2

“We pretty much shut it down coming in from China.”

    February 7

“It’s also more deadly than even your strenuous flu... This is deadly stuff” [Trump in a private taped interview with Bob Woodward, made public September 9]

    February 10

“I think the virus is going to be—it’s going to be fine.”

    February 10

“Looks like by April, you know in theory when it gets a little warmer, it miraculously goes away.”

    February 24

“The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA… Stock Market starting to look very good to me!”

    February 25

“CDC and my Administration are doing a GREAT job of handling Coronavirus.”

    February 25

“I think that's a problem that’s going to go away… They have studied it. They know very much. In fact, we’re very close to a vaccine.”

    February 26

“The 15 (cases in the US) within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero.”

    February 26

“We're going very substantially down, not up.”

    February 26

“Well, we're testing everybody that we need to test. And we're finding very little problem. Very little problem.”

    February 26

"This is a flu. This is like a flu."

    February 27

“It’s going to disappear. One day, it’s like a miracle, it will disappear.”

    February 28

“We're ordering a lot of supplies. We're ordering a lot of, uh, elements that frankly we wouldn't be ordering unless it was something like this. But we're ordering a lot of different elements of medical.”

This is his response today about what he says he did in February
    https://www.cnbc.com/2020/09/10/tru...as-airborne-in-february-its-no-big-thing.html

"Everyone knew the Virus was "Airborne". It's no big thing"

Along with calling all of us veterans "Losers and Suckers" exactly what is it now you find attractive about this candidate? Seriously if ANY other person running for the office of President of the United States was talking and acting like this would you vote for him?

At what point do we take a look at ourselves in the mirror and make the right choice? At what point are you willing to say "You know i'm wrong here. This man is a liar and a absolute failure as a president"
At what point do you finally listen to the people around you begging you to make the right choice and vote this man out?
At what point do you say hundreds of thousands of American lives mean more than my pride and affiliation with a party?

Believe me when i tell you not one of my associates that are veterans will be voting for this man. The end started the day he disrespected James "Mad Dog" Mattis. You do not stand there and disrespect one of the very most respected generals this country has ever had and keep the Veterans Vote!

Trump has done more for Jews, and Israel as a whole, than any other US President I know of. How about you?

Sure, Trump has done more for Jews than any president...more for Black people than any president...more for gays than any president... better on Corona virus than any president...more for environment than any president...and they all hate him! Why can't all these stupid inferior people see how great he is?

(ABM is not surprisingly unaware how offensive it is to tell American Jews Israel is our country.)

Here is the entire timeline of this President's response to this Virus.

If we had not lost nearly 200,000 American Lives i would actually Laugh Out Loud at the pure ludicrous statements. But unfortunately this man is actually our President and we have to suffer the consequences of his absolute inability to lead this country through this.

    https://doggett.house.gov/media-center/blog-posts/timeline-trump-s-coronavirus-responses

I dare you to read that entire time line and come up with a coherent response that supports his statements.

Exactly. What I was meaning to relate to crandc is that Trump has done more for the Jewish nation, and Israel, than any other US President I can think of. He's incredibly pro-Israel. Biden? Hmm, well.....

Biden vs. Trump on Israel and anti-Semitism
In the minefield of American politics, trying to look at the facts in context and draw conclusions is almost impossible, as ad hominem attacks rule the day -- unfortunately, many of them justified.

In America today, getting anyone to appreciate or respect different policies and opinions is a lost cause. The visceral reaction to Trump is palpable, and his rhetoric does him no favors. For others, Biden is no different from the progressive anti-Israel "Squad" in Congress, and his articulation problems do him no favors. Biden's much-anticipated choice of a vice-presidential candidate will be venerated on the left and excoriated on the right.

American Jews vote overwhelmingly Democrat, and for many, Trump's divisive actions have made this an easy choice. For a minority of American Jews, Biden may be a good man, but has lost his way on Israel and would be a dangerous choice for its long-term security. His stated policy to rejoin the Iran deal poses a serious threat to Israel, and his views on the Palestinians and international law are naive at best, and dangerous at worst.

America will survive Trump or Biden. But for the minority of American Jews who have Israel as one of their top-five policy issues in voting for a president, would Biden or Trump be a better choice to enhance US-Israeli relations? Or would one of them actually endanger Israel by his policy decisions?

It's so very interesting that in a "Corona Virus" thread Trump supporters are talking about supporting Israel?

Is that because they cannot possibly find any other thing related to THIS COUNTRY to support him on?
