IIRC, they went into Portland because of the Fed building, but were effectively kicked out by local entities. I don't see him storming into any cities these days. The mayors and governors have to make that call, right?

I suppose, what he may be effectively saying is, once invited, they'll go in and stop the destruction activities in quick fashion. Although, where that all ends up is anyone's guess. Lots of crazies out there. Tinder boxes abound.

Not wanting to piss you off on this subject but they Rose City Antifa say they are members only and they have to approve joining. My cop neighbor said they are very organized. It's the President that sets the tone but the governors and the mayors who have to clean up Trump's mess.
But my point was that Trump was so ignorant that he didn]t realize that he couldn't clean up anything other than to make the mess in the first place.
So why did he make the stupid statement that he was going to clean it up pronto in the first place?

Must you take everything literally? It was what is known as a figure of expression. Yes, it includes setting a tone such as violence against those at his rallies who oppose him is good and he will hire lawyers to defend them. Or some of those White Suprpremacists carrying torches and chanting anti Jewish drivel are fine people. It involves telling police that it's okay to handle suspects in a rough manner. It also involves giving police equipment originally meant for the America's military. It involves not denouncing White Supremacists. And so on and so on and so on. This is stuff you, of all people, should be cognizant of.
