But, he went back to it to make sure Joe answered it. Joe actually got to answer questions tonight rather than to be interrupted every 2 seconds by Trump
Asked during a televised town hall in Philadelphia whether supporting the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act was a mistake, Biden said that “yes, it was.” But Biden also said that the worst effects of the crime bill came as a result of decisions made on the part of individual states after its passage. “The mistake came in terms of what the states did locally. What we did federally – you remember George, it was all about the same time for the same crime,” Biden told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. Biden also noted that the bill had broad support among prominent Black leaders at the time and that things have “changed drastically” since then. Nevertheless, he repeated, “it was a mistake.”
Donald Trump says he CAN'T REMEMBER when his last negative test was before COVID diagnosis and claims '85% of people who wear masks get the virus' in fiery start to dueling TV town halls with Joe Biden
Donald Trump says 'people can decide for themselves' if Osama bin Laden's body double was killed and says QAnon 'are strongly against pedophilia' as he is challenged on conspiracy theory tweets
And this was why Trump was "attacked" more by the moderator because he spews lie after lie and he was being called out for it Biden didn't need to be challenged often in his town hall because he wasn't spewing nonsensical lies, he was being honest and respectful. He was excitedly talking in depth about his actual plans.

@ABM - Sincere questions: Can you explain why his lies are not a disqualifier for you? I tried to watch his town hall but it was all so much BS - he's for DACA, doesn't know what QAnon is, Obama killed Seal Team 6, or his "healthcare plan", or his Covid test - I mean how can you take anything he says seriously? And what I know about liars is that they think the truth is worse - so he knows everything is shit and that's why he has to spin an alternate reality. What am I missing?
a lot of his supporters actually can't stand him, but think that by supporting him (or defending him, even about stuff they personally find reprehensible) is a way to 'own the libs'. nothing more, nothing less.
Honestly I’ve always thought the same thing. I think he’s trying to prove he’s not a nutter that wants to defund the police like Trumps douche ass says that he does
NBC News YouTube channel showed 153,660 viewers were watching. ABC News's YouTube channel showed 507,445 viewers That says it all.
His mother should have washed his mouth out with bleach. I listened to him and concluded he is possessed by the spirit of PT Barnum.
Toddler threw a tantrum, got a cookie, and barfed it up. Trump refused to do previously scheduled debate. Biden was willing to show solo but debate cancelled so he scheduled town hall. Then network rewards Trump by giving him free hour on three networks at the same time. And he blathers. Karma is a good thing.
Scully lied about his tweeter account being hacked but Trump twisted that minor story like he always does. It's sad that the POTUS lies so much, common sense people seek a few truthful words.
