Had it not been for his giant blind spot on Vietnam LBJ would have been a great president. Shakespeare would call it his tragic flaw. Hard to separate president from moment. Would Johnson have done what he did without civil rights movement? Obama shifted position on marriage equality due to efforts of LGBTQ community and allies. Carter was forward thinking on environment but population not really with him.
it was mentioned in another thread, but Pete Souza's 'The Way I See It' documentary is a really good video. It gives and inside perspective on Obama that is very complimentary and a completely other world contrast with trump
Look, its pretty simple to me. He's a petulant little child that is an egomaniac. But he's also a pretty good leader (sans covid - which in my opinion is a little overblown) According toe the majority of the people in this country (through polling) we are better economically and safer externally than we have ever been in my lifetime. That's what I care about.
I didn't know peace in the middle east was a cult. Also, if you're referring to the SCJ, you know there are people that disagree with you about morals/policy etc right? That doesn't mean that the other side is in a cult.
So you think a petulant little child is a pretty good leader? Maybe we should lower the eligibility age from 35 to 3, so that more petulant little children can be president. You care about the poll or the economics/safety? I'd be interested to see the poll. barfo
Be nice, he's entitled to his own opinion, thats the problem these days anyone brings up something that does align, its fighting words.
I'm entitled to my own opinion too. And that opinion is, anyone who says Trump is the best president in their lifetime clearly cannot be more than 4 years old.
